How to Befriend Hao Jiu
Tell Hao Jiu You Enjoy His Wine
Hao Jiu will reveal that the wine he sells are fake. Mention that you enjoy the wine and that it's well made. Tell him that it doesn't matter what brand the wine has, but rather the conversations that are taking place during drinking sessions are more important.

(waving with a sly grin) Care for a taste of my health tonic wine? Smooth as silk, easy on the throat, delicious and nourishing! They call me "Sham Payne" in the trade-because every sip feels like pure luxury, without the pain of an empty purse. |

| sadly to say, yes most of the drinkers brags on the famous names and vintage some of the wines. I totally dissagree that name and brand of wines are not the center of the show for drinking, its more on how you converse with other people and sometimes talk about random stuff. (laugh) |

People are paying for the experience, not just the liquid. (grins slyly) They're all about showing off, but they don't really know what they're drinking! It's a win-win for everyone involved. |

Note that AI conversations can be unpredictable and even with the same inputs, the same result is not necessarily guaranteed.
How to Succeed in AI Chat
Reset Dialogue When Stuck
If your conversation has gone off the rails, or doesn't end no matter what you say, it's best to simply reset and start anew from a clean slate by clicking the button with a Refresh icon at the top of the chat box. Instead of trying several methods within one conversation, trying one strategy at a time and refreshing if it doesn't go anywhere is generally more effective.
Return to Login Screen if Combat Begins
Sometimes, NPCs will suddenly become violent during AI dialogues. When this happens, it's best to just bail out to the login screen; when you return, the NPC will be found just as they were before the conversation started.
If you accidentally kill a dialogue-capable NPC, our experience has shown that they will respawn, but this has not been heavily tested, so it's best to simply avoid engaging them in combat.
Double-Check the Hint
Even if the NPC appears to be happy with the result of your discussion, this won't always end the dialogue. Double-checking the text written in the hint will imply the win condition, so try strategies which will lead the dialogue towards that result.
