The Soulshade Umbrella can be unlocked by stealing the art from the master in Soulshade Umbrella - Post Station or by joining the Hollow Vale sect in Where Winds Meet. How to Unlock Soulshade Umbrella

Steal from The Master in Soulshade Umbrella - Post Station
| Note: Stealing from masters will require you to unlock the Touch of Death Mystic Arts in order to eliminate some guards along the way. This Mystic Art can be obtained from completing The Realm Endures side story. |
| Step | Objective |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Begin by traveling to the Soulshade Umbrella Post Station in the eastern part of the Kaifeng region. Note that the Kaifeng region is inaccessible until you finish Chapter 1: Heaven Has No Pier, so be sure to complete it first |
| 2 |  Once you are at the Soulshade Umbrella Post Station, find the house located on the left side of the station's entrance and use it to climb inside. |
| 3 |
From the rooftop, make your way down to the right side and assassinate the roaming guards near the entrance to get access to the station's main pathway. |
| 5 |  After assassinating the guards, head deeper into the station. Assassinate the guard patroling and obtain the second chest from the house on the right. |
| 2 | 
Continue moving forward until you reach the pool on the opposite side of the station. Deal with another roaming disciple, then grab the chest in the middle of the pool. |
| 4 |  After obtaining the chests, head back to the main entrance and climb the overgrown branches on the side to reach the upper floor of the main house. Obtain the chest on the second floor, then continue going down the ladder inside the house. |
| 6 |  Go down the stairs and take down the disciple watching the lower floor. Then, use the ladder hidden inside the coffin to reach a hidden area. |
| 7 |  Drop down and take out the of the disciples in the first area, starting with the one farthest away and ending with the one closest to the chest. After assassinating all of them, climb up the wall on the right to reach the elevated chest. |
| 9 |  Proceed deeper into the hideout until you reach the area with hanging coffins. Go down first, assassinate the disciples below to grab another chest. |
| 8 |  Use the ladder to get back to the top. Then, climb using the hanging coffins as footholds to access the area above. Defeat the Disciple on the ledge, and then continue to the top to reach the last chest. |
| 10 |  From the last chest, head down to the passageway lit by a torch. Climb the branches on the right to reach the objective area and use Skill Theft on the Master to obtain the Soulshade Umbrella Martial Art. |
Join the Hollow Vale Sect
You can unlock the Soulshade Umbrella Martial Art by joining the Hollow Vale Sect and fulfilling their requirements.

Soulshade Umbrella Special Skills
| Martial Art | Description |

| Echoes of a Thousand Plants |
Toss the umbrella into the air and pull out a hidden sword from the handle. You may switch to another weapon or use the hidden sword's basic skills. Increases healing by 15% and generates Dew over time (up to 60). The umbrella hovers and follows you, automatically healing the ally with the lowest HP percentage nearby (including yourself). Increase the healing effect by 50% when healing yourself. Use a Special Skill while wielding a hidden sword to recall the umbrella early. |
Special Skills can be unlocked by unlocking the seventh node on the talent tree. Once unlocked, you'll be able to use the martial art's heavy attacks.
Soulshade Umbrella Martial Skills

Send out the umbrella to grantyourself and nearby allie 15% increased damage for 8s and heal once. |
The Martial Skill is the default skill you can use for your chosen martial art. There are no other prerequisites to unlocking the Martial Skills and can be used immediately after starting the game.
Soulshade Umbrella Light Attacks

Swings your Umbrella to land up to three Light Attacks, dealing close to medium range damage. |
Light attacks are part of the default moves you get to use at the start of the game.
Soulshade Umbrella Heavy Attacks

| Pale Petal |
Charged Skill Send the umbrella forward to perform a spinning attack. If the target is already Exhausted, the attack extends the duration of the Exhausted status. Holding the skill increases both its damage and the duration of the effect. |

Charged skills and heavy attacks can be unlocked by unlocking the third node on the talent tree. Once unlocked, you'll be able to use the martial art's heavy attacks.
Soulshade Umbrella Conversion

Switch weapon to umbrella and swing it, dealing damage. |
Conversion or Dual-Weapon skills can be unlocked by unlocking the third node on the talent tree. Once unlocked, you'll be able to use the martial art's heavy attacks.
Soulshade Umbrella Basic Martial Art

| Deflection | Deflect enemy power skills to reduce enemy Qi significantly or deal heavy damage |
| Umbrella - Airborne Light Attack |
While airborne, swing the umbrella horizontally to deal damage. |

Spin the umbrella to attack. |
| Umbrella - Defense |
Open an umbrella to block incoming attacks. |
| Umbrella - Dodge |
Dash a short distance in a short time. |
| Umbrella - Execute |
Deal massive HP damage to Exhausted enemies. |
| Umbrella - Jump |
Use lightness skill to leap. |
| Umbrella - Jump Strike |
Deliver a powerful downward kick in mid-air, dealing damage. |
| Umbrella - Recovery |
Quickly recover after being knocked down. |
Basic Martial Art is the default moveset that all martial arts have.
How to Play Soulshade Umbrella

Echoes of a Thousand Plants Outputs Constant Healing
Soulshade Umbrella is mostly used as a secondary weapon. The main Umbrella can be thrown into the air using Echoes of a Thousand plants and will continuously heal your character or the nearest wounded combatant near you.
Grant Damage Buffs With Floating Grace
Floating Grace is a quick skill you can cast that will let you increase your own damage while also buffing your teammate's damage. Be sure to use this before using Echoes of a Thousand Plants to keep up the damage buff for yourself and the team.
