Complete Wandering Tale The Eagle's Shadow
Complete Campaign Quest Jinming Pool |
To unlock Soaring Eagle, you need to have completed the Wandering Tale The Eagle's Shadow, which spawns after completing the Jinming Pool campaign. After completing The Eagle's Shadow, wait for a day in real-life time to trigger Soaring Eagle at Jade Mirror Pond.

1. Give Zhenzhen the Wooden Eagle Diagram
At Jade Mirror Pond, talk to the little girl Zhenzhen by the water. She will mention needing Murong Yuan's blueprints for making the wooden eagle. Give her the Wooden Eagle Diagram. Note that you obtain the diagram during the Jinming Pool Campaign quest.
Find the Wooden Eagle Diagram in the Quintadent Warship
You can find the Wooden Eagle Diagram aboard the Quintadent Warship in the Jinming Pool Campaign quest. The diagram is found on the floor, by a pile of books, in the secret chamber unlocked by the painting puzzle.
2. Visit Zhenzhen's Family
Thankful for the diagram, Zhenzhen will invite you to come to her house at Masterwood Hamlet at the Xu hour. Change the time before going to the hamlet. There, follow Zhenzhen to her family's camp. Sit down and dine with her and her father Blacksmith Li.
3. Listen to Zhenzhen's Story
As Zhenzhen recounts a meeting with Murong Yuan, her father will attempt to prove that it did not happen. Run after the upset Zhenzhen and listen to her full story.
4. Learn More About Murong Yuan
To learn more about Murong Yuan, follow the quest marker to talk to Uncle Li in the hamlet. He will direct you to the Old Shipwright who once worked with Murong Yuan.
5. Investigate General Shi's View of Murong Yuan
Travel to the Martial Temple, south of Kaifeng, and investigate General Shi's view of Murong Yuan. Listen to what he has to say about Murong Yuan's past and how she became the person she was.
6. Find the Underground Passage
Return to Masterwood Hamlet to an Abandoned Shrine is. Stand close to interact with it and reveal a hidden passage underground. Be careful as it is a long drop; safely hop down by landing on the platforms. In the passage, read the Badly Burned Letter on the box.
7. Learn About Murong Yuan's Past
You will be sent to a dream-like space. Keep walking, witnessing events from Murong Yuan's past, until you return to the real world. Turn around from the cliffside to confront the government soldiers. After defeating them, talk to Li Shoujie and give him the Badly Burned Letter.
Take the Explosive Device Plans
In the same room, go to the table and take the Explosive Device Plans. You need this item for the All Beauty Fades Wandering Tale, where you give the plans to Tang Ji'an.
8. Return to Zhenzhen's Camp
Go back to Zhenzhen at her family's camp. Talk to her about what you learned about Murong Yuan. At the end of the conversation, Zhenzhen will promise to return the wooden eagle blueprints after a few days.
9. Return to Jade Mirror Pond
Set the time to the day after tomorrow, then meet up with Zhenzhen at Jade Mirror Pond. After returning the blueprints and showing you her wooden eagle, the quest will end.
