Complete the Veiled Blades Quest
Head to Kaifeng and start the Veiled Blades Jianghu Legacy quest. You can start the quest by going to its location just southeast of the Goldwater Street boundar stone.
The Riptide Reflex tome is rewarded upon quest completion.

| 1 | Hitting an enemy with a control skill reduces the current Martial Arts Skill's cooldown by 2 seconds. |
| 2 | Increases Min Physical Attack based on Solo Mode Level. |
| 3 | Martial Skill Chi Damage dealt to targets afflicted with your own Crowd Control or Erosion state is increased by 10%. |
| 4 | Now reduces the Martial Arts Skill cooldown by 5 seconds. |
| 5 | Increases Physical Penetration by 5.1. |
| 6 | When a Martial Skill hits a target afflicted with your own Crowd Control or Erosion state, you gain the Bone Shaving effect for 3 seconds. When gaining the Bone Shaving effect, HP damage dealt by Martial Skills is increased by 10%. Stacks up to 3 times. |
Upgrading Internal Arts increases their tier, allowing them to grant additional bonuses. These range from general stat improvements to enhancements of the passive effects provided by the Internal Art.
Use Internal Art Advance Items to Upgrade
To upgrade tiers, you must first reach Solo Mode Level 4, also referred to as Level 4 Roaming. Afterward, you'll need Riptide Reflex: Notes, which can be obtained through various means, most notably through the Tips Exchange.
