How to Join Velvet Shade
Join via Sect Invitation
Unlike in the other sects, joining Velvet Shade requires an invitation from the sect itself. Your character must be equipped with as many cosmetics as possible until an invitation to join the sect arrives.
Releases on December 14, 2025
The Velvet Shade Sect is currently unavailable and will only be released globally on December 14, 2025. Details about the sect have yet to be released from official announcements.
Velvet Shade Clue
Follow the Clues in Kaifeng
The Velvet Shade clue is available as soon as you reach or go above level 10, which is the minimum level requirement to unlock sects.
The clue does not appear until you reach Kaifeng and is tied between two side quests, namely Gathering of Heroes and Shadows of Bloom.
