Echoes of Oblivion Bamboocut - Wind ・Pursuit ・Martial Arts ・Debuff	Effect: Infernal Twinblades' normal Light Attacks apply Sin to enemies, while Light Attacks under Flamelash apply Karma. When attacking targets affected by Sin and Karma with Infernal Twinblades' Light Attacks, ignore their 10% Physical Defense and 10% Bamboocut Resistance respectively. How to Get: Complete the Quinghe storyline by defeating Qianye during the For Whom Does He Return main quest. The tome is rewarded after completing the quest.
Riptide Reflex Bamboocut - Wind ・Control ・Buff	Effect: Hitting an Enemy with a Control Skill reduces the Cooldown of the current Martial Arts Skill by 1s. This effect can only trigger once every 10s. Affected Control Skills include: Bladebound Thread, Coiled Dragon, Qiankun's Lock, Spring Sorrow, Moon Shatter Spring, Wayfarer's Drift, Peak's Springless Silence. How to Get: Complete the Veiled Blades Jianghu Legacy quest to obtain Riptide Reflex. You can start the quest by going to the southeast direction of the Goldwater Street boundar stone.
Breaking Point Bamboocut - Wind ・Pursuit ・Buff ・Stacking	Effect: Hitting Exhausted enemies with a Critical Hit applies a stack of Disintegration for 3 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. Each stack grants 10 Physical Penetration and increases Critical DMG Bonus by 5%. How to Get: Defeat Yi Dao in the dream realm of Blissful Retreat to obtain the Breaking Point Tome. You can access the dream realm by touching Yi Dao's sword after defeating Quinye.
Vendetta Bamboocut - Wind ・Martial Arts ・Buff ・Recover	Effect: Guided Blade's Vendetta Token last 5 seconds longer and restores 20 Token of Gratitudes. How to Get: Complete the Jimming Pool quest in Kaifeng to obtain the Vendetta Tome. You can start the quest by speaking to the Wayfarer at found at Jadewood Court.
Sword Morph Bellstrike - Splendor ・Attack ・Martial Arts ・Damage Boost	Effect: When Noname Sword's Charged Skill, Vagrant Sword is charged while the Qi shield is present, it unleashes multiple additional sword energy attacks at the 2nd charging stage. You can consume bonus Endurance to increase the sword energy's damage; each Endurance increases damage by 1%, up to 20%. How to Get: Log in for day 3 straight days and claim the Sword Morph Tome in A Warrior's Journey.
Battle Anthem Bellstrike - Splendor ・Attack ・Damage Boost	Effect: Increases Charged Skills' damage against all bosses by 10%. How to Get: Head to Buddha fort and take down all guards then free the hostage the complete the fort. Upon first completion you'll be rewarded with the Battle Anthem tome.
Wildfire Spark Bellstrike - Splendor ・Support ・Recover	Effect: Refunds 3.5% of the Endurance consumed. How to Get: The Wildfire Spark: Tome is obtained as a quest reward for completing the Deerforage's Remedy Encounter. Shi Yimo can be found initially in the camp east of Blissful Retreat, then she can randomly be encountered in Deerforage Grove.
Mountain's Might Bellstrike - Splendor ・Support ・Martial Arts ・Cost Reduction	Effect: Noname Spear Martial Arts Skill Qiankun's Lock grants Endless Gale effect, increasing the Endurance cost reduction to 20% for 5 seconds. How to Get: Open 5 chests in the Palace of Annals to complete the pages for Mountain's Might. You can access the Palace of Annals by speaking to Long Wu in Moonveil Mountain.
Sword Horizon Bellstrike - Umbra ・Attack ・Martial Arts ・Pursuit	Effect: After casting Strategic Sword's Martial Arts Skill, Special Skill, or Charged Skill, press the skill button at the perfect timing during the ending phase to cast Crisscrossing Swords and unleash follow-up attacks. If the target has 5 stacks of Bleed, remove all Bleed stacks and deal high Bleed damage once. How to Get: The Sword Horizon: Tomes can be obtained by purchasing Unknown Old Books from Ni Laoshan in the Ghostlight Market. With a stock of 30 on these books, you can expect to spend at most 375,000 Coins.
Insightful Strike Bellstrike - Umbra ・Attack ・Damage Boost ・Dmg Reduction	Effect: Dealing Affinity DMG generates Focus. When Focus is full, enter the Concentration state for 10 seconds. Concentration: Increases Affinity DMG by 10%. Upon hit, there is a 5% chance to reduce damage taken by 40%. How to Get: The Insightful Strike: Tome is awarded for completing Feng's Archery Challenge with a Grade A rank, achieved by maintaining a lead of four or more birds hunted.
Adaptive Steel Bellstrike - Umbra ・Attack ・Support ・Buff	Effect: Gain a Martial Skill effect based on the blade weapon you are using. The Martial Skill of Sword has a 10-second cooldown, while Dual Blades' Martial Skill has a cooldown of 25 seconds. How to Get: Trade Oddities with Qi Sheng in Quinghe to obtain the Adaptive Steel Inner Way. You can find Qi Sheng near the tree where you learned Tai Chi from the Bear.
Wolfchaser's Art Bellstrike - Umbra ・Martial Arts ・Buff	Effect: Reduces the required combo number to gain Heavenquaker Spear's Martial Arts Skill, Sorrow Without Wine buff from 5/10 to 4/8. Each time Sorrow Without Wine hits a boss with Bleed effect from you, there is a 20% / 40% / 60% / 80% / 100% chance to increase the combo count by 1 based on the number of Bleed stacks. How to Get: The Wolfchaser's Art: Tome is found in a chest near the end of the Heavenquaker Spear - Sanctum, where you can also obtain a new Spear Martial Art. The hidden entrance to this area is located east of Wildmane Ranch and requires a Dragon Key to open.
Seasonal Edge General ・Attack ・Buff ・Damage Boost	Effect: After casting a Dual-Weapon Skill, gain one of four offensive bonuses. How to Get: The Merchant Cao Sheng sells the ten pages you need to learn Seasonal Edge. You'll find him south of the Grand Imperial Temple boundary stone and a total of 5000 Echo Jade is required to purchase the whole set. Morale Chant General ・Attack ・Buff ・Stacking	Effect: 80% chance to gain one stack of Yi River when attacking or healing. Divine Roulette General ・Counter ・Buff ・Damage Boost	Effect: Upon a successful deflection, gain one of three buff that enhances the next skill you use. The effect lasts 10 seconds and can only trigger once every 30 seconds. This applies to Martial Arts Skills, Perception Skills, Special Skills, Charged Skills, and Varied Combos. How to Get: Start the Gleaming Abyss quest and defeat the Void King to obtain the Divine Roulette tome.
Fury Harvest General ・Support ・Mystic Arts ・Recover	Effect: Vitality is required to cast Mystic Arts. Certain recovery actions have a 50% chance to grant 1 bonus Vitality. No bonus Vitality is rewarded when you gain Vitality by attacking, taking a hit, or successfully deflecting an attack. How to Get: Head to Bodhi Sea and complete the Lost Chapter quest by defeating Ye Wanshan to recieve the Vital Leech tome.
Vital Leech General ・Pursuit ・Recover	Effect: Casting an Exhaustion Execution Skill restores HP equal to 8% of the damage dealt. How to Get: Head to the Palace of Annals and reach its depths to fight Lucky Seventeen. Defeat Lucky Seventeen to complete the Lost Chapter quest and recieve the Vital Leech tome.
Bitter Seasons General ・Attack ・Debuff ・Stacking	Effect: When dealing damage, there is a 10% chance to apply a Poison effect for 5 seconds, dealing damage once per second. The Poison reduces target's Physical Defense by 0.6% for 10 seconds, stacking up to 5 times (duration refreshed upon stacking). How to Get: Start the Gleaming Abyss quest and defeat the void king to access the Mist Gate. Pass through the mist gate and take the path upwards until you reach the house with purple trees; the chest containing the Bitter Seasons tome is inside the house.
Envigorated Warrior General ・Attack ・Buff ・Damage Boost	Effect: Increases all damage and healing done by 5%. This effect is disabled for 5 seconds after being hit. Taking a hit also grants a Cage effect, increasing all damage taken by 5%. How to Get: The Envigorated Warrior tome is a obtained by defeating Heartseeker as part of the Still Shore Quest.
Evasive Charge General ・Cost Reduction ・Recover	Effect: After a Perfect Dodge, there is a 50% chance to refund 100% of the Endurance consumed. How to Get: Complete the Streetwise Sage Quest in Kaifeng. You can start the quest by eavesdropping on the Nine Mortal Ways Disciples by the east entrance to the Beast Reverie in the Fairgrounds to trigger an interaction with Xue Chou.
Fivefold Bleed General ・Attack ・Damage ・Stacking	Effect: Dealing damage has a 10% chance to apply one stack of Weeping Blood for 5 seconds, damaging the target once per second (up to 5 stacks, duration refreshed upon stacking). At 5 stacks, Weeping Blood will be removed from the target and deal piercing damage once. How to Get: The Fivefold Bleed: Tome is a reward for completing the A Faltering Flame Wandering Tale quest in Kaifeng.
Shadow Assault General ・Attack ・Mystic Arts ・Damage Boost	Effect: Increases the max range of Assassin Mystic Art Touch of Death's ambush by 1.5 How to Get: Trade Oddities with Qi Sheng in Quinghe to obtain the Shadow Assault Inner Way. You can find Qi Sheng near the tree where you learned Tai Chi from the Bear.
Steadfast Stance General ・Defense ・Control Resistance	Effect: Less likely to suffer stagger effect when attacked. Invalid when the attack comes from a boss or player. How to Get: You can obtain the Steadfast Stance Inner Way by completing the cave under the General's Shrine and bowing to the statue three times to reveal the chest containing the Inner Way.
Evening Snow General ・Support ・Recover	Effect: Within 12 seconds upon entering combat, if HP falls below 60%, gain Snow Vision for 4 seconds, restoring 2% HP +600 HP per second. This effect can trigger once every 300 seconds. How to Get: Obtain all 10 pages of Evening Snow to obtain the Inner Way. The first set of pages is found in a house near the mountain path in Blissful Retreat, the second set of pages is found in the Treasure Room in a cave under the Evercare Clinic.
Wind Beneath Wings General ・Support ・Mystic Arts ・Recover	Effect: Reduces the Endurance cost of Movement Mystic Arts Skywalk Dash's dash while jumping by 10%. After landing, increases Movement Speed by 30% for 3 seconds. Restores bonus HP (1% Max HP +1,000) after defeating any enemy. How to Get: Complete the Tiger Fort Outpost and the Northern Vow Ruins to obtain all pages of Wind Beneath Wings. You get the pages from both locations through your first completion.
Royal Remedy Silkbind - Deluge ・Support ・Martial Arts ・Recovery	Effect: Increases the healing effect of the water clone created by Panacea Fan's Martial Arts Skill, Cloudburst Healing by 10%. If you are within its range, gain 1 Dewdrop each time when receiving healing over time. How to Get: Head to the Panacea Fan Sanctum just south of the Northern Bamboo Grove boundary stone. Make your way to the depths of the cave and look for an isolated room with two braziers at the entrance; the chest containing the Royal Remedy tome is inside.
Mending Loom Silkbind - Deluge ・Support ・Buff ・Recover	Effect: Casting Soulshade Umrella's Special Skill, Echoing Grow restores 5 Dewdrops and additionally heals 10% of your Max HP for every 100 Dewdrops consumed. How to Get: Defeat Zheng the Frostwing during the Ever-Normal Granary campaign quest in Kaifeng. You'll need to speak to the woman arguing with the guard at the granary to start the quest.
Esoteric Revival Silkbind - Deluge ・Support ・Buff ・Recover	Effect: Increases the healing of Panacea Fan's Perception Skill, Resurrection, by 50% on the revived target. How to Get: Defeat the Sleeping Daoist in Quinghe to obtain the Esoteric Revival tome for the inner way. You can find the Sleeping Daoist in Jadebrook Mountain, near the Path of Karma boundary stone.
Restoring Blossom Silkbind - Deluge ・Support ・Buff ・Stacking	Effect: Dealing Critical healing applies one stack of Nurturing for 3 seconds increasing healing received by 2%, stacking up to 3 times. How to Get: The Restoring Blossom: Tome is rewarded for joining the Healer's Union by completing the Legacy: Healer's Calling quest. This quest unlocks at level 13 and can be started in Mercyheart Town, located in the northwest section of Qinghe.
Blossom Barrage Silkbind - Jade ・Attack ・Martial Arts ・Damage Boost	Effect: Vernal Umbrella's Martial Arts Skill Spring Sorrow can hold up to 2 stacks. Hitting a target applies the Combo effect: Increases Damage taken from the caster's Ballistic Skills by 10% for 8s. Affected Ballistic Skills include: Martial Arts Skill Let Spring Go, Special Skill Everbloom. How to Get: Head to the Velvet Shade boundary stone in Kaifeng and witnessstand near the crowd around the downed man. Follow the the Nine Mortal Ways disciple to initiate the Shadows in Bloom quest. Completing the quest will reward the Blossom Barrage tome.
Star Reacher Silkbind - Jade ・Attack ・Pursuit ・Buff	Effect: Gain 10% Physical Attack Bonus for 8 seconds after knocking an enemy airborne. How to Get: Defeat the Snake Doctor World Boss located in cave just north of the Encircling Lake in Quinghe to obtain the Star Reacher Inner Way. The cave entrance is found to the west of the boss's map pin location.
Thunderous Bloom Silkbind - Jade ・Damage Boost ・Buff	Effect: When you move more than 15m within 3 seconds, gain Spring Thunder: The next 3 Heavy Attacks or Airborne Heavy Attacks within 12 seconds gain 15% DMG Bonus. This effect may trigger once per 15 seconds. How to Get: Head to Mercyheart Monastery then take down all guards and destroy all Daturas (purple plants) the complete the fort. Upon first completion you'll be rewarded with the Thunderous Bloom tome.
Flying Gourds Silkbind - Jade ・Martial Arts ・ Support	Effect: Grants 2 charges to Inkwell Fan's Peak's Springless Silence, but increases its cooldown by 3 seconds. How to Get: The Flying Gourds tome is found within the Inkwell Fan Sanctum area near the Floral Expanse Beyond. Accessing the cave entrance to it requires a Dragon Key.
Exquisite Scenery Stonesplit - Might ・Defense ・Martial Arts ・Counter	Effect: Successfully defending with Thundercry Blade activates its special counterattack. Press Perception Skill or Heavy Attack to unleash a first stage Charged Heavy Attack without charging. This effect can only trigger once every 10 seconds. Hitting a target with a Varied Combo restores 1 bar of Battle Will (no more than 1 bar restored per cast). How to Get: Reach the small island to the north of the Northen Vow Ruins boundary stone and stand near the wandering monk in the area to start the fight with Sheng Wu. Defeating Sheng Wu will immediately reward the Exquisite Scenery Inner Way.
Trapped Beast Stonesplit - Might ・Defense ・Buff ・Recover	Effect: Taking damage while HP is below 30% triggers Cornered Beast, generating a shield that absorbs up to 30% of Max HP. This effect lasts 4 seconds and can trigger once every 300 seconds. How to Get: Obtain all three pieces of the armor of the dead during the March of the Dead quest in Kaifeng then speak to Liu Changsheng to receive the tome for Trapped Beast. You'll find Liu Changsheng after opening the gate, just before fighting Zhu Yousheng.
Art of Resistance Stonesplit - Might ・Defense ・Buff	Effect: Increases the duration of your own HP shield and the bonus effects of its source skill by 4 seconds. How to Get: The Art of Resistance: Tome is a reward for completing the Scammer Victims encounter. To unlock this encounter, you will need to complete the Exploration Quest Initiation: Well of Heaven Elder. After completing this, walk up the path leading to Zhang Yihao's location to trigger the quest.
Rock Solid Stonesplit - Might ・Defense ・Martial Arts ・DMG Reduction	Effect: Increases the DMG Reduction of Stormbreaker Spear's Roar of Storm by 20% after taunting a boss unit, and by 5% after taunting a non-boss unit, up to 20% in total. While the DMG Reduction is active, reduces all damage dealt by 10%. How to Get: Defeat the Dao Lord during the Unbound Cavern campaign. You can unlock Unbound Cavern after completing the Accident Main Quest in Chapter 2.

Reach Solo Mode Level 4

The Inner Ways Breakthrough system unlocks after reaching Solo Mode Level 4. You can achieve this by progressing through your solo save file and completing specific challenges that prevent access to higher Roaming Levels.

Use Inner Way Advance Items

To upgrade Tiers, Inner Ways require the use of Notes or Inner Way Advance Items specific to each Inner Way. For example, the Legendary Echoes of Oblivion Inner Way requires Echoes of Oblivion: Notes to upgrade.

Use the Tips Exchange for More Materials

Trade Bookplates in the Tips Exchange for Inner Way upgrade materials, which come with random rarities and Paths.

Use the Inner Way Conversion to Swap Tiers

The Inner Way Conversion system allows you to transfer all existing upgrades from one Inner Way to another that you plan to use. This can only be done a limited number of times each season.

Inner Ways function as passive skills that are equipped to provide various effects. These effects either grant passive buffs or trigger when performing certain actions.

Synergizes With Martial Arts of the Same Path

Each Inner Way is labeled with a Path that it primarily synergizes with. These Inner Ways enable new mechanics and further enhance the Martial Arts of the same Path.

Additionally, some Inner Ways belong to the General Path, which does not synergize with any specific Path and can be used with any character build.
