Listen to Cao Jinyang's Worries
Cao Jinyang worries about his lover being unhappy lately. Tell Cao Jinyang that maybe his lover is worried about him because he is overworking himself for both their sakes. Tell him that seeing him happy will probably make Jingjing happy.

if Jingjing loves me, I'll eat well. |

Hiding something? That's a possibility I
hadn't considered. Jingjing is very
perceptive. If she senses that I'm
keeping secrets, it might make her
unhappy. (nods slowly) But I haven't
been hiding anything ... except maybe
my own worries about making her
happy. (sighs softly) In heaven, we'd be
birds flying side by side; on earth, I just
want to be Jingjing's treasure. |

(eyes widen slightly, nodding in
agreement) That makes sense,
Wanderer. Jingjing is very caring and
would surely worry if she thought I was
overworking myself. (leans forward,
hands clasped tightly) Maybe I should
focus more on what brings us both joy
instead of trying to impress her with
material things. (smiles faintly)
Passing by a flower stall, the fragrance
fills the air. If only Jingjing could smile

Jingjing was unhappy because she
guessed I earned that money by
working secretly. She said she doesn't
want me to exhaust myself. She wants
me to do what I truly love ... and what I
love most is making her happy! Yes! I'll
go find Jingjing right now. Wanderer, I
hope you find your own love soon too! Cao Jinyang thinks for a moment, then chuckles sheepishly, blushing as he glances at Tao Jingjing.(Affection +100, becomes Revered) |
Note that AI conversations can be unpredictable and even with the same inputs, the same result is not necessarily guaranteed.
How to Succeed in AI Chat
Reset Dialogue When Stuck
If your conversation has gone off the rails, or doesn't end no matter what you say, it's best to simply reset and start anew from a clean slate by clicking the button with a Refresh icon at the top of the chat box. Instead of trying several methods within one conversation, trying one strategy at a time and refreshing if it doesn't go anywhere is generally more effective.
Return to Login Screen if Combat Begins
Sometimes, NPCs will suddenly become violent during AI dialogues. When this happens, it's best to just bail out to the login screen; when you return, the NPC will be found just as they were before the conversation started.
If you accidentally kill a dialogue-capable NPC, our experience has shown that they will respawn, but this has not been heavily tested, so it's best to simply avoid engaging them in combat.
Double-Check the Hint
Even if the NPC appears to be happy with the result of your discussion, this won't always end the dialogue. Double-checking the text written in the hint will imply the win condition, so try strategies which will lead the dialogue towards that result.

You can find Cao Jinyang beside Tao Jingjing on the ground floor of the Revelry Hall, on the north side of the building.
Note that you will need to do Shadows in Bloom quest to access the Revelry Hall.
