Complete the Unbound Cavern Campaign

 You obtain the Rock Solid tome by completing the Unbound Cavern campaign quest where you fight the Dao Lord in Ghostlight Market. The campaign is necessary to further the main quest Accident. |
Defeat the Dao Lord at the end of the Unbound Cavern campaign. You unlock the campaign as you progress through the main quest Accident in Chapter 2: Universal Furnace.

| 5 | Increases Physical DMG Reduction by 2.5%. |
| 6 | While Thundering Roar's DMG Reduction is active, hitting a target receives HP based on the Battle Will consumed by that skill (2% HP per bar of Battle Will consumed; this effect only triggers when a single skill hits the same target multiple times, and can only trigger on up to five targets). |
Upgrading Internal Arts increases their tier, allowing them to grant additional bonuses. These range from general stat improvements to enhancements of the passive effects provided by the Internal Art.
Use Internal Art Advance Items to Upgrade
To upgrade tiers, you must first reach Solo Mode Level 4, also referred to as Level 4 Roaming. Afterward, you'll need Rock Solid: Notes, which can be obtained through various means, most notably through the Tips Exchange.
