Speak With Cai Cai By The Cooking Pot

To unlock the Wandering Tale A Savory Revelation, speak with Cai Cai by the cooking pot mid in the intersectio between Peace Bell Tower and the Palace of Annals. You can use the Front Mountain Boundary stone and follow the path down to find him.

A Savory Revolution Walkthrough
1. Speak With Cai Cai
Speak with Cai Cai, and he will ask you to bring him ingredients for a new dish he is preparing for his wife. He will need a Fire Striker, a live pheasant, and fresh mushrooms.
2. Gather the Ingredients
You can retrieve the items in any order you wish. The live pheasant you can purchase from a hunter north of Peace Bell Tower, the fire Striker is located in a Bandit Camp south, and the fresh mushrooms can be gathered in one of the cliffside of the mountain southwest.
For an easier route, go for the pheasant first, then the Fire Striker, and finally the mushroom. This will take you a straight path down the side of Peace Bell Tower.
Ingredient Locations
| 2.1 |  From Cai Cai’s location, follow the path up to Peace Bell Tower. Once you reach the intersection, take the path to the right. At the top of the stairs, speak with the Hunter standing beside a cage on the right, near the ruined roofs and the pond. You can purchase the pheasant for 250 coins, or you can choose to pay with scraps. If you pay with scraps, this will initiate a battle between you and the hunter. Defeat the hunter to get the pheasant. |

| 2.2 |  From the hunter’s location, backtrack to the top of the stairs and take the path to the left. There will be a Greenwood Bandit Camp at the top of the stairs. Defeat all the bandits and collect the Fire Striker on the Sleeping Mat near the mountainside. |
| 2.3 |  From the Bandit Camp, scale down the west side of the mountain. Be careful not to fall to avoid injuries. On one of the cliffs will be a red mushroom with the Redmist Beetle oddity. You can gather the fresh mushrooms at the foot of the tree beside the oddity. |
3. Submit the Ingredients to Cai Cai
Return to Cai Cai and submit the ingredients to end the quest.
