|
| Note: Stealing from masters will require you to unlock the Touch of Death Mystic Arts in order to eliminate some guards along the way. This Mystic Art can be obtained from completing The Realm Endures Side Story. |
| Step | Objective |
|---|---|
| 1 |
![]() Travel to the South Imperial Garden and go to the top floor of the east tower that's connected to the main building. You can get the first chest there. |
| 2 |
![]() After getting the first chest, go to the top roof of the main building to get the second chest. The chest is on a wooden platform. |
| 3 |
![]() After getting the second chest, turn left and drop down to the lower roof. You'll see an opening into the main building. |
| 4 |
![]() Drop down to the floor below and head left. You'll see the first chest below. Just drop down to obtain it. |
| 5 |
![]() After getting the first chest, move across the room and onto a wooden platform. From there, drop down to the middle of the stairs. |
| 6 |
![]() From the stairs, go under it then head right to a small room where you can get the second chest. |
| 7 |
![]() After opening the second chest, kill the guard nearby. He's facing opposite you, so it should be an easy kill. |
| 8 |
![]() Go now to the hallway just ahead. There's a patrolling guard in the hallway, so just wait for him to turn his back then go in for the kill. The entrance of the hallway is just in front of the stairs earlier. |
| 9 |
![]() Move through the hallway, but before turning right to the next room, hide behind the small wooden table first. There's a patrolling guard in the next room, so wait for him to turn around before taking him out. |
| 10 |
![]() After taking out the guard, go to the adjacent room then drop down to the floor below. |
| 11 |
![]() Use the small wooden planks to move across the room then stand on the blue circle on top of a bookshelf and steal the Martial Art. |
We recommend getting chests in the area as well as in other zones to get an umbrella weapon you can use the martial art with.
If you have the Lightness Skill for Kaifeng, you can use it to quickly reach the top of the east tower in the South Imperial Garden. This lets you bypass the guards on the ground floor and get to the top much faster.
You can unlock the Everspring Umbrella Martial Art by joining the Hollow Vale Sect and fulfilling their requirements.
| Martial Art | Description |
|---|---|
| Cyclone Waltz |
Spin the umbrella rapidly on the ground. Grants Tenacity, deals continuous DMG to nearby enemies, and pulls them in. You can move freely. Press again to cancel early When a Phantom Umbrella exists, cast Cyclone Waltz to swap positions with it. The Phantom Umbrella lasts 5s. Swap back by casting again within 5s. |
| Martial Art | Description |
|---|---|
| Scarlet Spin |
After casting the skill, gain Flower Burial for 12 seconds. During Flower Burial, Fading Crimson does not regenerate naturally. While in the Flower Burial state, consuming 1 Fading Crimson allows you to throw 1 returning umbrella, dealing damage twice (to and fro) to enemies in its path. The Flower Burial state is lost when the duration ends or Fading Crimson is depleted. In non-Arena modes, Flower Burial also grants Tenacity. |

Use Scarlet Spin to activate your main damage window, letting you throw returning umbrellas that hit twice (out and back). Keep tossing from mid-range and time Perfect Catch to boost your next return for maximum DPS.
Whenever Scarlet Spin lights up, it signals that you can perform a Perfect Catch on the returning umbrella. You can also rely on the sound cues to help with the timing. Some players might find it easier to treat it like a rhythm, following the throw and return cadence rather than only watching the icon.
Use Cyclone Waltz to pull nearby enemies together while dealing continuous damage. This makes it easier to hit multiple targets with your umbrella throws and burst skills.
If a Phantom Umbrella is active, you can also swap positions with it to reposition quickly or escape danger, useful for skipping some boss mechanics!
Use Dreamwrought Bubbles (Charged Skill) to throw a returning umbrella that deals double-hit damage. At max distance, it creates a Phantom Umbrella that lasts for 5 seconds, enabling additional effects and combos with skills like Cyclone Waltz, which lets you teleport to its position for quick repositioning or escape.
| Weapon | Explanation |
Unfettered Rope Dart
|
・Umbrella provides safe mid-range pressure while Rope Dart delivers explosive melee burst. ・Umbrella setups make it easier to engage with Rope Dart combos. ・The weapons rotate smoothly between ranged poke and close-range execution. ・Both offer strong AoE and access to Tenacity for more reliable burst windows. |
|---|
Everspring Umbrella pairs very well with Unfettered Rope Dart because they cover each other’s ideal ranges. Umbrella applies pressure and builds damage safely from mid-range, while Rope Dart lets you dive in and unleash powerful melee burst once the opportunity appears.
Rope Dart also benefits from enemies being grouped or pressured by Umbrella skills, letting you transition smoothly into high-damage combos. This pair creates a natural rotation between ranged setup and close-range execution.
