How to Unlock Heavenfall
Track Heavenfall North of Kaifeng City

To unlock Heavenfall, track the quest in Heavenfall north of Kaifeng City in the Roaring Sands, then talk to Zhang Cuo to start it.

1. Talk to Zhang Cuo
Once you’re tracking the quest, follow the marker and speak with Zhang Cuo.
2. Talk to Er Ma
Go to the marker at Heavenfall. You'll be tasked with saying a code phrase to identify the real informant. The correct informant is Er Ma the fishmonger, so speak with him and follow him into the hamlet.
3. Follow Er Ma and Defeat the Enemies
After following Er Ma to the bonfire, your task is to defeat the guards. Take down all four Bloodscale Warriors.
4. Use the Crane to Lower the Gear Key
Now you’ll need to move the crane helm and align the crane to lower the gear key into the raft.
5. Step on the Slab and Steer the Water with Tai Chi
Er Ma will ferry you to another location, where you’ll have to fight a few enemies. Next, open the floodgate by stepping on the slab to trigger the dragonhead’s water column. Use Tai Chi to redirect the stream at the right moment toward the mechanism to unlock the gate.

6. Move the Box and Use Tai Chi to Steer the Water
Er Ma will ferry you to another location. Defeat the guards, move the box using the crane, then step on the slab to trigger the dragonhead’s water column. Use Tai Chi to redirect it toward the mechanism to unlock the floodgate.
7. Defeat Feng Rhuzi, The Bloodscale Hall Master
Once that’s done, Er Ma will ferry you to another destination. Here, you’ll need to defeat four guards and face the mini-boss, Bloodscale Hall Master Feng Ruzhi. Focus on dodging her yellow-glint strike and parrying her combos to drain her Qi Bar and set up Execute attacks.
8. Turn the Dial to Open the Floodgates
Afterwards, follow the marker and turn the Dial for Er Ma to open the floodgates.
9. Jump Into the Water
Dive into the Yellow River and follow the marker underwater to the reach the other side
10. Use the Crane to Hoist the Treasure
Once you reach the Gonggong Crane Base, you’ll need to fight guards on your way to the top. When you reach the top, use the crane helm to move the crane and lower it to hoist the treasure seal. A cutscene ensues aftrerwards
11. Defeat the Dragon King Boss
You'll fight the boss, Dragon King and his second phase, the River Master. In both phases, he fires a three-swipe water beam; after the third, he instantly jumps and slams your location, so pull off two quick dodges.
He also has a golden jump slam where he leaps with the fish and lands almost immediately - dodge early, because the hit comes fast.

12. Speak with Jin Zhongyuan
After the final cutscene, speak with Jin Zhongyuan to wrap things up and finish the quest.

Feng Ruzhi relies on fast, powerful attacks, including a yellow-glint strike that grabs from the air and deals massive damage. This attack is unblockable and hard to evade, so dash forward to avoid it, taking advantage of her disjointed flight trajectory when you’re underneath her.
Her combos often end with a red-glint strike, signaling a chance to parry and counterattack. Focus on parrying her attacks. Successful parries will drain her Qi Bar and open opportunities for strong Execute moves. Time your defenses carefully to turn her aggression against her.

The Dragon King relies heavily on charged and unblockable attacks. When he fires his charged energy ball from a distance, parry it to send it back and briefly stun him, creating an opening for damage. Keep your distance when needed and use jumps and dodges to avoid his unblockable water and slam attacks.
In phase two, when he becomes the River Master, shift your focus to parrying his aggressive melee combos. Watch for the final strike that glows red and parry it to drain his Qi bar, setting up powerful Execute opportunities. Stay patient, react to his patterns, and punish openings rather than overcommitting.
