There are four Armor Pieces in the game, each can have varying Tiers, Defensive Set Bonuses, main stats, and tuning substats.
Defensive Bonus Sets
Increases Defenses and Utility When Worn as a Set

2 Piece Effect:
・+13 Physical Defense 4 Piece Effect: ・Your shield duration is extended by 2 seconds. If youy have more than 85% Qi or a Qi damage immunity shield, reduce all HP damage taken by 20%. |
 Calmwaters
|
2 Piece Effect:
・+13 Physical Defense 4 Piece Effect: ・A Perfect Dodge of an enemy attack has a 50% chance of restoring 3% of your Max HP and 10 Endurance. |
 Eaglerise
|
2 Piece Effect:
・+1 Physical Defense 4 Piece Effect: ・Dealing damage over time or healing grants 1 stack of Eaglerise: Reduces damage taken by 1.2% for 10 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. At max stacks, receives an Eagle Guard effect that reduces the next incoming damage within 10 seconds by 90% (halved when the damage comes from a boss). This effect can only trigger once every 30 seconds. |
 Moonflare

2 Piece Effect:
・+40 Max HP 4 Piece Effect: ・When attacking while defending, there is a 30% chance to create a shield that absorbs up to 10% of Max HP, lasting 20 seconds. If a shield already exists, restores 2% HP in addition. This effect can only trigger once every 60 seconds. |
 Agile Steps

2 Piece Effect:
・+40 Max HP 4 Piece Effect: ・Upon a successful deflection, reduces all damage taken within 2 seconds by 20%, stacking up to 3 times. |
 Flawless Defense
|
2 Piece Effect:
・+1 Physical Defense 4 Piece Effect: ・Reduces damage taken by 5%. When HP falles below 60%, futher reduces damage taken by 1% for every 10% HP lost, stacking up to 5 times. |
 Beyond the Chill
|
2 Piece Effect:
・+40 Max HP 4 Piece Effect: ・After entering combat, if no damage is taken for 10 seconds, gain Beyond the Chill: Reduces the next damage taken all damage taken within 2 seconds afterward by 40%. Beyond the Chill is removed upon leaving combat. |
 Whirlsnow

2 Piece Effect:
・+1 Physical Defense 4 Piece Effect: ・When you lose more than 40% of Max HP in a single instance of damage or when your HP falls bellow 20%, the next healing you receive within 5 seconds restores an additional 25% of your Max HP. This effect triggers once every 60 seconds. |
Some armor provide a specific gear set which grants bonus defenses and utility when met with specific conditions. These sets offer a smaller bonus when equipped with 2 pieces, but is best worn with 4 pieces to gain the best bonuses.
Defensive sets correspond to all four armor slots. Aligning these 4 equipment with the same set should grant you the bonus. You can tell that these slots are under the same set if the icons on their upper left are the same.
Armor Stats Explained
Increases Max Health and Physical Defense
Armor primarily increases your Max Health and Physical Defense. This aspect of your gear is responsible for your character's survivability. You can further increase your defensive capabilities by tuning substats and equipping a four-piece defensive set.
Can Gain Random Substats
Armor can gain a random substat from a Tier 31 weapon. Upon reaching Tier 41, players can gain the ability to tune armor and add a second substat. The third substat slot can be obtained at Tier 51, while the last slot is from Tier 56.
Armor Used as Tuning Materials
Some armor can gain a Tuning material substat, which allows them to be used as tuning materials with an added guarantee to the substat rarity based on the stone icon. A purple stone icon guarantees a purple or above substat, while a gold stone icon guarantees a gold substat.
