Unlocked After Completing Desert Without Sails
To get the Towline Sweep Inner Way, complete the second Hexi Jianghu Legacy, Desert Without Sails. Finishing this will reward you with the Boat with Rope: Tome, which you can use to unlock the Inner Way.

The Towline Sweep is an Epic Inner Way that synergizes with the Bamboocut - Dust path of Martial Arts, further enhancing the mechanics of that playstyle.
Towline Sweep Breakthrough Tier Bonuses

| 1 | The duration of Soulbreak and Soul Return is increased to 18 seconds. |
| 2 | Increases Min Bamboocut Attack based on Solo Mode Level. |
| 3 | Piercing Dart's sweeping combo deals increased damage: 5% bonus for 1st to 3rd hit, 10% bonus for the 4th and 5th hit, and 15% bonus for the 6th and 7th hit. |
| 4 | When the Soul Drain effect ends, an additional 5% of the damage dealt by the inflictor during the effect is settled. |
| 5 | Increases Bamboocut Penetration by 6. |
| 6 | Burn and Bury deals 15% increased damage and is guaranteed to be Critical. The finger snap refreshes your own Soul Return state, and immediately calculates and refreshes the Soulbreak state on enemies within 15 meters. When calculating Soulbreak's damage, the damage multiplier is increased to 10%. |
Upgrading Internal Arts increases their tier, allowing them to grant additional bonuses. These range from general stat improvements to enhancements of the passive effects provided by the Internal Art.
Use Internal Art Advance Items to Upgrade
To upgrade tiers, you must first reach Solo Mode Level 4, also referred to as Level 4 Roaming. Afterward, you'll need Towline Sweep: Notes, which can be obtained through various means, most notably through the Tips Exchange.
