WWM - Training Dummy Location and Features

Training dummies are wooden stakes in a training ground where you test out new builds or a simulation of the bosses featured in Sword Trials. Learn more details about how a training dummy works and where to access this!

How to Access Training Dummy

Locate Boss Dummy Under Sword Trials

Steps How to Access Training Dummy

Go to Wandering Paths in the Menu
Select Wandering Paths in the Main Menu.

Go to Challenges
Go to Challenges.

Select Boss Dummy via Sword Trial Tab
Switch to the Sword Trials tab, then go to Boss Dummy at the top of the selection.

Go to Boss Dummy in the Sword Trials tab via Wandering Paths to access the training dummy. Using the training dummy does not require Energy and can be used at any time.

Training Dummy Types and Settings

Types of Training Dummies Scenarios

Types Description
Damage: Sword Trial Boss Dummy A simulation of the HP and Qi of Bosses found in Sword Trials.
Damage: Heroes' Realm Boss Dummy A simulation of the HP and Qi of Bosses found in the Heroes' Realm.
Healer - Party Wooden Stake A healing simulation for normal exploration parties, such as Casual Co-op.
Healer - Raid Wooden Stake A healing simulation for parties formed in raids, such as the Sword Trials and Heroes' Realm.

Damage scenarios are split into two types: Sword Trial Boss Dummy and Heroes' Realm Boss Dummy. This provides a simulation for boss fights against the featured bosses in the said multiplayer battles. Meanwhile, Healer scenarios provide a healing simulation between casual parties and raids.

Damage - Boss Dummies Settings

Wooden Stake (Level) ・Lv. 16 - Lv. 71
Type ・Free-Wooden Stake
・Time-Wooden Stake
・Fixed-HP Wooden Stake
Time-Wooden Stake Timer ・00:30 secs - 05:00 mins
Fixed-HP Wooden Stake Boss HP ・10% - 90%
Boss DMG ・On / Off
Character Status ・Item Buffs
・Set Trials
Infinite Vitality ・On / Off

There are three types of Wooden Stakes that players can select from: Free, Time, and Fixed-HP. Free allows training without any restrictions, whereas Time lets players train against a dummy for a limited period. Fixed-HP offers a selection of Boss HP range, which you can set while training against the dummy.

Healer - Wooden Stake Settings

Infinite Vitality ・On / Off

The Healer - Wooden Stake scenario focuses on how effective a player's healing is to their potential teammates. Turning on Teammate HP Increased shows how much HP has been restored on a teammate during battle.

Select an Item Buff or a Gear Set by navigating the Character Status setting. Moreover, turning on Infinite Vitality allows unlimited use of Mystic Skills.

List of Character Status - Item Buffs

Buff Talisman Buff Type Description
Heartless Script DMG Reduces damage taken by 20% for 30 minutes when affected by crowd control effects.
Resilience Script When HP is below 30%, reduces both damage dealt and received by 20% for 30 minutes.
Revelry Script If HP is below 30%, both damage dealt and taken are increased by 20% for 30 minutes.
Restoration Script Endurance Increases Endurance Recovery by 5% and Qi Recovery by 20% for 30 minutes.
Defense Script Interrupt Increases Interrupt Resistance by 20% for 30 minutes.
Swiftness Script Dodge Reduces the Endurance cost of dodging by 5% and increases Movement Speed by 5% for 30 minutes.
Longevity Script Recovery Increases the healing effect of all medicines by 15% for 30 minutes.
Scroll of Water Divinecraft Extends Divinecraft: Hydrokinesis effect duration by 5 seconds for 30 minutes.
Scroll of Flame Extends Divinecraft: Pyromancy effect duration by 5 seconds for 30 minutes.
Scroll of Poison Extends Divinecraft: Toxicology effect duration by 5 seconds for 30 minutes.

Above is the list of Item Buffs that you can equip while training against a dummy. Only 1 Item Buff can be active at a time.

Boss Simulations and Build Tests

Testing Build Rotations

Training Dummies are divided into two types: Boss Dummies and Wooden Stakes. Training on Boss Dummies provides statistical insight into damage and healing compositions. Players can freely experiment with builds and gears by checking the trial items in the Bag menu or by adjusting their Character Status settings.

Damage scenarios in the settings allow players to test out builds against the featured bosses in Sword Trials and Heroes' Realm. They can also test out healer builds on Wooden Stakes during Healer scenarios to strengthen support on teams.
