How to Unlock Telling Truth

Speak with Lady Wen on the Pavillion West of Harmonic Span

Telling Truth Map Location
Region Kaifeng

To unlock the Wandering Tale Telling Truth, Speak with Wen Li-Shi on the pavilion west of Harmonic Span. She will be sitting on the bench between the Chen - You Hour.

Telling Truth Walkthrough

Step Objectives
1
Objective 1
Speak with Wen Li-Shi; she will ask for your help in delivering a message to her husband. She will tell you that he is a rower of a big boat.

Objective 2
Make your way to the large boat across the gazebo where Lady Wen is. Speak to Xiang Yuan, who is standing on the side of the boat.

Objective 3
Ask Xiang Yuan if he knows Wen Xie, and he will tell you that river work is dangerous and that some boats overwork their rowers. He will advise you to look for Lord Feng in Tianjing Dock for information on Wen Xie.

Objective 4
Make your way to Tianjing Dock; you can swim across the river or walk your way over. Feng Lao’er will be on a boat docked at the port.

Objective 5
Speak with Feng Lao’er to find out the truth; Wen Xie has passed; he died in an accident long ago. Return to Wen Li-Shi to deliver what you’ve learned.

Objective 6
Speak with Wen Li-Shi. If you tell her the truth, she will ignore the implication of his death and will mention asking someone else to look for him; if you lie, you will continue her delusion. The quest will end after this.
