How to Unlock A Dog's Ambition

To unlock A Dog's Ambition, go to Masterwood Hamlet and set the time to You hour, described as dinner time in the Encounter Journal. The Encounter will automatically trigger and direct you to a house harassed by dogs. Speak to the boy Xiaojie to learn what the fuss is about.
A Dog's Ambition Walkthrough
| Step | Objectives |

| 1 |  Speak to Xiaojie to learn about the dogs gathered in front of the house. According to him, the dogs will not stop barking until nightfall. Set the time to the Hai hour, then talk to the vet Old Cai inside. |
| 2 |  Find and talk to Old Yang, sitting by a pile of planks, about his dog Buster. To summon the help of the Spirit Beast Master, you will need to pray at the dog shrine and make an offering there. Old Yang will give you a sugar figurine to complete the offering. |
| 3 |  Head to the dog shrine located behind a wall. You need to offer one Prime Meat Cut and the sugar figurine to make the offering. After submitting the items, follow the white dog to meet the Spirit Beast Master. |
| 4 |  Follow the Spirit Beast Master to Old Yang's house. After discussing the problem with Buster, talk to the group again with what you should do next. To help Buster regain his confidence, you need to collect dog fur from three dogs in the hamlet — Haihai, Jet, and Silk. |
| 5 |  You can find Jet near the house. It is the white dog standing on the road. Pluck its fur to complete the first task. |
| 6 |  Haihai is at the center of the hamlet, standing by construction of a large building. Pluck its fur to complete the second task. |
| 7 |  The last dog Silk is aggressive, so you cannot take its fur up close. Stand behind Silk and use Celestial Seize to pluck its fur from afar. With all fur collected, give them to the Spirit Beast Master back in Old Yang's house. |
| 8 |  Once the Master heals Buster, follow everyone outside to a bridge where the other dogs are gathered. After a cutscene where Old Cai rescues Luna, the quest will end. |
