Eastern Hear-Rat in Nine Mortal Ways Base

The Eastern Hear-rat

The Nine Mortal Ways Base has its own version of the Eastern Herald, known as the Eastern Hear-Rat. Players can also answer a different quiz for the Today's Topic section. However, no participation rewards will be gained, regardless of your answer.

The Eastern Hear-Rats can be found on a table outside of the first house that you will find directly east of the Nine Mortal Ways Base Boundary Stone.

These are the obtainable rewards for participating in a quiz in Eastern Herald. Extra Adventure Slips will be given to those who answer correctly on the day's quiz. Answering quizzes on a missed day within the week will still warrant rewards.

Open the Wandering Paths menu.

Go to Casual Co-Op.

Look for Eastern Herald in Leisure Tab
Select the Leisure tab and look for Eastern Herald under the Entertainment section.

The Eastern Herald is a multiplayer activity found in the Wandering Paths menu, where current happenings and events are reported on a newspaper. Players can participate in a daily quiz in the Today's Topic section to earn various rewards.

To access this feature, complete the Exploration Quest, Correspondent: Eastern Herald. The quest will include instructions on how to post articles in the public newspaper.

Two Types of Jianghu Daily

Jianghu Daily Description
World's Digest The officially endorsed column posts major news in the jianghu—it's a must read for any hero!
Floral Annals Untold This section records gossips among friends and neighborhood purely for the entertainment of readers!

The Eastern Herald has two types of newspapers: World's Digest and Floral Annals Untold. World's Digest contains all major news across the jianghu, ranging from game announcements and the quiz for the day.

On the other hand, the Floral Annals Untold shows gossips limited between you, your friends, and anyone within your in-game social circle.
