Pet Pawsie Five Times After Completing The Final Retreat

Find Pawsie in Squarewall Hold
Region Jade Gate Pass, Hexi
Unlock Req. Wandering Tale - The Final Retreat

To trigger this Encounter, you first need to complete the Wandering Tale The Final Retreat in Squarewall Hold. After completing it, find the kitten Pawsie at the base of a tower southwest of the area. You need to pet Pawsie five times for the Encounter to start.

  2. Obtain Birdman Feathers from the Utuk Raptor
  3. Pet the Strange Black Cat
  4. Ask Help from Immortal Cap
  5. Talk to the Immortal Cat
  6. Agree or Disagree with the Immortal Cat's Offer

1. Seek Help from Immortal Hair

Seek Help from Immortal Hair
After petting Pawsie five times, you'll contract Cat Fever. Seek help for the disease by following the quest marker to Immortal Hair, who is found petting a cat.

2. Obtain Birdman Feathers from the Utuk Raptor

Obtain Birdman Feathers from the Utuk Raptor
Defeat the nearby Utuk Raptor marked by the quest objective to get the Udug Bird Feather, then submit it to Immortal Hair.

3. Pet the Strange Black Cat

Pet the Strange Black Cat
A strange black will then appear in front of you. Pet the cat in an attempt to cure your Cat Fever, which won't work.

4. Ask Help from Immortal Cap

Ask Help from Immortal Cap
Immortal Cap, a man claiming to be able to help you, will appear. Approach him to ask for his help and he'll show you a series of cat pictures in a tome. The Cat Fever will still persist, however, and Immortal Cap will run away.

5. Talk to the Immortal Cat

Talk to the Immortal Cat
After passing out, you'll be surrounded by cats. Talk to the Immortal Cat and pet it.

6. Agree or Disagree with the Immortal Cat's Offer

Agree or Disagree with the Immortal Cat
The Immortal Cat will offer to cure your Cat Fever only if you agree to be its servant. If your Mindset stat is above 60 points, you can disagree. Otherwise, you're forced to agree to its demands and you'll keep petting it until you wake up from the hallucination.

This guide opted to agree with Pawsie's offer, which completed the quest without any consequences.
