Found at Western Edge of Mistveil Forest
You can encounter the Ghost Master World Boss by the western edge of Mistveil Forest in the Kaifeng region.
Take note that you need to complete the Ephemeral Blight encounter quest to remove the poison fog surrounding the area and allow you to fight Ghost Master comfortably.

Ghost Master Best Companion
The best companion to bring against Ghost Master would be Yi Dao due to his ability to draw aggro, especially during the Boss' vanishing attacks, and the second phase summons.
Yi Dao can also quickly exhaust Ghost Master with his heavy attacks, allowing you to quickly burst down the Boss by combining Yi Dao's heavy attacks with your own parries.

Parry the Umbrella Barrage to Exhaust Her
Ghost has a move where she floats high up in the air to unleash a barrage of umbrella projectiles that follows up with a dive attack. We recommend parrying each projectile so you can completely exhaust her Qi bar to give you an opening for burst damage and unleash an Execute attack.
Parry the Spider Lilies During Second Phase
During the second phase, instead of launching umbrella projectiles, Ghost Master will call forth Spider Lilies that cause ground shockwaves on impact. Parrying the shockwaves will cause Ghost Master to take substantial Qi bar damage, allowing you to easily exhaust her.

Destroy the Sedan
During the fight, a carriage with a red shield will appear - focus on attacking it. Once the threshold is reached, Ghost Master will cast Phantom’s Return and jump inside the sedan, at this point, destroy it immediately. The initial AoE hit from this mechanic can be blocked to reduce incoming damage.
Handle Multiple Sedans in Later Phases
As the fight progresses, Ghost Master will begin spawning two carriages at once, and later three simultaneously. DPS each carriage down to its health threshold before destroying them. These phases act as DPS checks, so clean execution and target priority are key.
Carry the Sedan Away from AoE Damage During Into the Sedan
During the later phases, Ghost Master casts Into the Sedan, trapping a player inside a carriage. Two assigned players must pick up and carry the sedan away from incoming AoE attacks. Movement must be coordinated carefully, as poor positioning can cause overlaps or damage the trapped player.
Later in the fight, two players will be trapped at once, requiring four players to split up and carry both carriages away. Meanwhile, the rest of the team should keep the boss positioned safely and continue dealing damage.

| Twin Lotus | Ghost Master launches two red umbrellas towards you. Both of the umbrellas can be parried and dodged. |
| Twisting Dance | Ghost Master attacks three times in a row by rotating its body. All three strikes can be parried and dodged. |
| Umbrella Strike | Ghost Master uses its umbrella to attack twice. This move can be dodged and parried. |
| Vanishing Strike | Ghost Master attacks twice by rotating, and then vanishes before attacking a third time directly onto the player. The combo can be parried and dodged, with the third attack triggering a counterattack when perfectly parried. |
| Death's Embrace | Ghost Master temporarily obscures your vision multiple times before performing a dash strike in the dark, grabbing and dealing massive damage on contact. The attack can only be dodged and cannot be parried. |
| Parasol Slam | Ghost Master attacks multiple times by rotating its umbrella, before leaping into the air and slamming towards the player. All of the attacks can be parried or dodged. |
| Umbrella Barrage | Ghost Master leaps into the air, then launches 10 Umbrellas towards the player, followed up by a ground slam after the tenth umbrella. All of the attacks can be parried and dodged. |

| Parasol Slam | Ghost Master uses its umbrella to attack three times, with the third strike leaving a long red line that explodes after a delay. This move can be dodged and parried. |
| Umbrella Strike | Ghost Master attacks three times using the umbrella. The combo can be parried and dodged. |
| Spider Lily Rain | Ghost Master calls forth multiple Spider Lilies to fall onto the ground, creating shockwaves on impact. The attack can only be dodged and parried. The Shockwaves can also be dodged by jumping over them. |
| Deathly Blossom | Ghost Master attacks by spawning tendrils directly under the player four times, followed by a yellow attack. All of the tendrils can be parried or dodged, but the yellow attack cannot be parried. |

| Phantom's Return and Lost Souls | The Ghost Master returns to the sedan, causing a spider lily to bloom above it. This triggers constant damage to the team, so focus all DPS on the sedan (Gui Jiaoli) and destroy it as quickly as possible. |
| Underworld Umbrella | Several players are marked as red circles expand beneath them. Marked players must spread out to prevent overlapping damage. |
| Dirge of the Nine Springs | A player is marked as a red circle expands beneath them. The marked player must move away from their teammates to prevent overlapping damage. |
| Cloud Veil | Ghost Master takes to the air and red circles appear beneath several players. Spread out to prevent overlapping damage. |
| Eternal Extinction | When Ghost Master casts Eternal Extinction, a red linear indicator will appear shortly afterward. This attack must be parried by one player to prevent severe consequences. |
| Clanking Shackles | The sedan is borne by two ghostly figures. Destroy the carriage’s bearers, the Golden Shackles and the Silver Chain, to stop the palanquin. |
| Into the Sedan | Ghost Master traps one or two players in the sedan. Quickly carry the sedan away from incoming AoEs and the boss to keep the trapped players safe. |
