This is a hybrid tank build focusing on the Thundercry Blade's big damaging hits and the Soulshade Umbrella's sustain to keep your HP topped up in fights. Shields + Heals makes this setup near invincible against enemies

The two main martial art for the build is the Thundercry Blade and the Soulshade Umbrella with the Thundercry Blade being your main weapon for most of the time. The Soulshade Umbrella is mainly used as a passive healing and buff weapon while you primarily play the Thundercry Blade.
Use buffs then raise the Umbrella into the air then focus on going up front against enemies with charged hits and big damage output.

 Morale Chant |
80% chance to gain one stack of Yi River when attacking or healing. Yi River: Increases Physical Damage and healing by 1% for 8 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. The chance to gain Yi River is only calculated once every 2 seconds. |
 Exquisite Scenery |
Successfully defending with Thundercry Blade activates its special counterattack. Press Perception Skill or Heavy Attack to unleash a first stage Charged Heavy Attack without charging. This effect can only trigger once every 10 seconds. Hitting a target with a Varied Combo restores 1 bar of Battle Will (no more than 1 bar restored per cast). |

 Divine Roulette |
Upon a successful deflection, gain one of three buff that enhances the next skill you use. The effect lasts 10 seconds and can only trigger once every 30 seconds. This applies to Martial Arts Skills, Perception Skills, Special Skills, Charged Skills, and Varied Combos.
Buff List Immortal Guidance: Increases the next skill's damage by 10%. Immortal Guidance: The next skill is guaranteed to be a Critical Hit. Immortal Spirit: The next skill is guaranteed to be an Affinity hit. |
For our setup, we focus on amplifying our charged skills as this will be the Thundercry Blade's main damage source. We also support this style while increasing our sustain from Soulshade Umbrella to allow us to stand our ground further while and lastly, utilize defending and deflecting attacks as it'll let you trigger bonuses such as guaranteed critical strikes and instant charged attacks.

Swift and devastating, like a falcon swooping down on its prey. First, swipe the target to break their defense, then follow up with 3 hits. Breaking the target's guard deals Qi damage. Mystic Arts with a Defense Break tag share the same cooldown. |
 Ghost Bind |
Flash before enemies, immobilizing up to 6 targets for 5s, and breaking their Vital Points. Ineffective against powerful enemies and players. Vital Points: These enemies have bound Qi bars. Breaking their Vital Points disables Qi regen and deals extra damage. |

Stat Priority
Ultimately, you'll want defensive stats over offensive stats as this setup let's you capitalize on both shields, defensive stats, and healing alike. As long as you're able to stand your ground, you'll be able to whittle down.
After defensive stats, you'll want to get get affinity rate and critical rate to give your big charged hit a chance to get bonus damage per hit.

Recommended Skill Rotation
- Buff yourself using Soulshade Umbrella Floating Grace.
- Raise the umbrella into the air to passively heal you while in combat.
- Swap to Thundercry Blade.
- Begin charging your heavy attack to initiate the fight.
- Fire your Avalanche then follow it up with Sunrush Gale into Galecloud Cleave to complete your rotation.
Always Keep Echoes of a Thousand Plants Up
Keeping Soulshade Umbrella into the air is vital to sustaining your HP. Try to keep this ability active at all times to maximize Soulshade Umbrella's value.
Use Charged Attacks For More Damage
Due to the Thundercry Blade's slow nature, its better to use charged attacks rather than going for multiple light attacks. Charged Heavy attack is better against single enemies like bosses while Charged light attack is better for cleaving against multiple enemies.
Use Predator's Shield to Restore 2 Fighting Spirit
Once your Fighting Spirit has been reduced, you can use Predator's Shield to regain 2 Fighting Spirit immediately. Its a quick and easy way to regain your main weapon's resource while also putting up a shield for more defensive capabilities.
Block Hits to Activate Exquisite Scenery
Exquisite Scenery lets you activate a charged heavy attack once triggered and has a 10 second cooldown. Consider blocking instead of deflecting to activate this effect and capitalize on Thundercry Blade's powerful charged hits.
