Twelve Years of Feuds is the 06 Jianghu Legacy found in Kaifeng in Where Winds Meet. Find out how to defeat He Yuezhi and his henchmen to complete the quest and earn your rewards, which includes the recipe for Toxic Arrows.

Ask the Wayfarer at the Granary of Plenty
|
To unlock the quest Jianghu Legacy - 06 Twelve Years of Feuds, talk to the Wayfarer of the Granary of Plenty. To track the quest, select it from the Side Story tab of the Exploration menu and inspect it to reveal its location and start tracking the quest.
Twelve Years of Feuds Walkthrough
- Investigate Sorrowfield Village
- Steal the Key to the Ancestral Hall
- Go to the Town Academy
- Defeat He Yuezhi and His Henchmen
- Head to the Main Residence
- Defeat Shen Yiren
- Talk to the Tomb Keeper
1. Investigate Sorrowfield Village
| 1.1 |  Approaching Sorrowfield Village, you will see an injured merchant on the ground. Heal him to learn more about Sorrowfield Village. It is recommended to have at least 4100 Mastery points in the Healer Profession to successfully treat the merchant. ► Healer Guide: How to Heal Illness |

| 1.2 |  After hearing about a shadowy figure from the merchant, head toward the village and investigate the stain on the ground. The shadowy figure will appear walking ahead. Follow the quest markers to tail him. |
| 1.3 |  You will eventually reach a walled residence. As the doors are locked, your only way into the courtyard is over the wall. You can open a small chest on top of the right side of the wall. |
| 1.4 |  In the courtyard, you will be attacked by three dogs. Try to avoid being surrounded; the dogs will easily overwhelm you with their fast bites. A safe alternative to defeating them is by shooting fire arrows at them from a roof, though this will take some time to do. |
| 1.5 |  With the dogs defeated, the shadowy figure Zheng Zongxian will appear. Talk to him about the plague to further the quest. Zheng Zongxian will refuse to grant you entry into the Ancestral Hall, prompting you to leave. |
2. Steal the Key to the Ancestral Hall
| 2.1 |  Leave the residence by jumping over the wall again. You will suddenly hear a conversation coming from inside. Jump back into the courtyard to eavesdrop on the conversation. |

| 2.2 |  Wait until evening or set the time to the Xu hour. Exit the residence and jump on the roof of the neighboring house in front of it. Eavesdropping on the conversation below, you will learn about Zheng Zongxian holding the key to the Ancestral Hall. ► How to Change Time |
| 2.3 |  As Zheng Zongxian walks out of the house, stay within his proximity (while remaining undetected) to succesfully snatch the key with Celestial Seize. If detected, you will have to redo this segment. ► Celestial Seize Mystic Skill Effect and How to Unlock |
| 2.4 |  Return to the residence and use the key to unlock the front door of the Ancestral Hall. Inside, inspect the Mycelium-Wrapped Tablet. A short cutscene will trigger, where you fall unconscious and wake up twelve years earlier in Zheng Manor. |
3. Go to the Town Academy
| 3.1 |  Exiting Zheng Manor, untie the ropes binding young Shen Yilun. Follow him outside and help him up when he falls down the steps. |

| 3.2 |  On a wooden platform overlooking a burning town, inspect the vantage point to find a clear path to the Town Academy. Get closer to the town by leaping on the trees and landing on a watchtower. Activate the Hero's Tomb there. |
| 3.3 |  As the main road to the Town Academy is blocked, go there by running on the roofs of the town buildings. Jump on the roof to the right of the watchtower, where you will see bridges. Watch out for bandits stationed on both the ground and the roofs. |
| 3.4 |  You will eventually jump down from the roofs and continue along the main road. At the end of the road is a tall house. Activate the Hero's Tomb before making a leap through the window. Defeat the two bandits on the second floor, then beat two more downstairs. |
| 3.5 |  Leave the house and follow the path up some stairs leading to the Town Academy, where He Yuezhi and his henchman are. |
4. Defeat He Yuezhi and His Henchmen
Once you enter the square, He Yuezhi and his henchmen will move to attack. Defeat them to proceed to the next objective. Note that this fight is rather difficult due to the henchmen constantly interrupting you, and defeating He Yuezhi will not end the battle immediately.
Lure He Yuezhi Away from the Others
To make the battle more bearable, separate He Yuezhi from his henchmen. You can do this by luring all of them to the path back to the house where you fought the bandits. They will cross an invisible threshold that causes them to “reset” by returning to their original positions.
Prevent He Yuezhi from running back by continuously attacking him. Eventually, his henchmen will leave, isolating him and allowing you to defeat him alone.
Defeat the Henchmen One at a Time
With He Yuezhi gone, pick off his henchmen one at a time. You can employ the method above to make the fight more bearable as the axeman and the swordsman pursue you aggressively. After beating them, you can proceed to take out the remaining two archer henchmen.
Defeating Henchmen Eliminates Them Permanently
If you die during the confrontation but were able to defeat the henchmen, they will remain defeated. You can use this as an alternative way of making the fight easier to deal with if you choose to defeat the henchmen first before He Yuezhi.
5. Head to the Main Residence
Continue ahead to the stairs flanked by an arch. Taking the left path leads to a bandit camp with a chest, while going straight leads to the next objective at the main residence of Zheng Manor. You may defeat or run past the bandits on the way there.
6. Defeat Shen Yiren
In the courtyard, confront Shen Yiren. Press the “Kill” prompt to instantly defeat his men with Touch of Death, then proceed to beat Shen Yiren. The boss' moveset combines sweeping spear attacks and arrows that you can parry to quickly exhaust his Qi bar.
Once Shen Yiren is defeated, approach the distraught A'Zheng in front of the house. You will fall unconscious again afterwards.
7. Talk to the Tomb Keeper
You will wake up back in the present in a house north of Sorrowfield Village. Talk to the tomb keeper playing music outside to learn about what happened, ending the quest.
