How to Unlock The Path of Heroes
Approach the Training Area in Harvestfall Village

The Path of Heroes Encounter Quest unlocks when you approach the entrance to the training grounds in Harvestfall Village. Right of the entrance you will see some kids. Speak with the kids to start the quest.
The Path of Heroes Walkthrough
| Step | Objectives |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Speak with the kids arguing about their parents, Yan A'niu will brag about his father being close to Tian Ying. After his father picks him up, grab the item near the hay bale and bring it back to Datie. |
| 2 |  Go to Datie just outside the training area and give him the wooden charm. He will tell you that A'niu has been taken. Speak with Datie again when you're ready to go look for his son. |
| 3 |  You will be teleported with Datie to the Encircling Lake. Follow the waypoint and examine the sword stuck in the ground, speak with Datie after, and follow him to the next location. |
| 4 |  He will lead you to a Bandit Camp, defeat all the enemies. After defeating the enemies, speak with Datie. |
| 5 |  There will be a strange noise nearby. Examine the area and pick up the sachet beside the broken roof, and give it to Datie, and he will tell you to meet him at the Palace of Annals. |
| 6 |  Speak with Datie, after your conversation, follow the source of a strange noise, and find small footprints. Tell Datie that you think A'niu is the one following you. |
| 7 |  Follow the footsteps to an enemy camp to find that A'niu has been taken by a group of bandits. Defeat the bandits and rescue A'niu. Make sure that you are ready before you charge in. The Aureate Commander will summon snakes in this battle. After the Battle, speak with the father and son to end the quest. |
