Zheng the Frostwing Best Companion
The best companion to bring against Zheng the Frostwing would be Yuan Jin'Gang due to his ability to deplete the boss's Qi Bar from a safe distance. He also maintains damage output during Phase 2 when the boss is flying, allowing you to focus purely on dodging and parrying.
We highly recommend Yuan Jin'Gang to rapidly deal Qi damage and open Zheng the Frostwing up for Execute attacks, dealing huge burst damage. Keep in mind to maintain aggro as Yuan Jin'Gang can easily die from Zheng the Frostwing's attacks.
Zheng the Frostwing Location
Found at the Ever-Normal Granery at Granery of Plenty
In order to unlock Zheng the Frostwing, you will need to complete the Ever-Normal Granary campaign quest to progress further.
Once you have finished the quest, you can find Zheng the Frostwing's Campaign version at the Granary of Plenty area in the Kaifeng region.

Focus on Parrying His Attacks During 2nd Phase
The goal for Zheng the Frostwing is to parry his attacks until he is exhausted so you can perform an Execute attack to deal huge damage. Throughout the fight, Zheng can also parry your attacks and retaliate with his own moves so make sure to only attack once and prepare to parry immediately so you can consistently whittle down his Qi bar.
Do note that you can parry most of his projectiles except for the Double Wave move where you need to dodge to the side to avoid it. Additionally, his melee attacks can also generate an ice thorn follow up which can easily catch players off guard so try to reposition behind or away from him to avoid it.
Use Meridian Touch to Cancel His Red Attack
During the first phase, Zheng the Frostwing will perform a fan attack that has a red glow which can be difficult to parry. We highly recommend equipping Meridian Touch and using it whenever he executes the fan attack to cancel it and knock him down for a few seconds, giving you time to dish out damage and whittle down his Qi bar.
Parry the Ice Wave Red Attack During 2nd Phase
Once you reach the 2nd phase, he will create a large ice pillar to perch on and start shooting ice waves at you throughout the field. The first two ice waves are unblockable so make sure you dodge to the side, while the 3rd ice wave will be a red attack that you need to parry to destroy the ice pillar and bring Zheng down to the ground.
