Progress Through the Main Quest - A Horse Neighs in the Forest
|
This Campaign is unlocked as you progress through the main quest A Horse Neighs in the Forest. Following the quest objectives, go behind Evercare Clinic to discover a well covered in branches. Burn them with fire arrows before hopping down, starting the campaign.

1. Light the Passage with Fire Arrows
Before treading into the passage, activate the Still Shore Boundary Stone. The passage is dark, so you need to shoot fire arrows at the torches to light it up. Once the torches are lit, run to the end of the passage.
Do Not Attack the Mobs and Step on the Trap
Do not attack the mobs in the passage; they will not become aggressive unless they are hit. Also, do not step on the pale stone on the floor (near the first mob) as doing so will trigger a trap.
2. Jump Down the Hole
At the end of the passage, take a right where a chest is on the other side. Shoot more torches with fire arrows to light up the passage and avoid accidentally setting off more traps on the floor. Then, jump down the hole in front of the chest.
3. Step on the Pressure Plate to Unlock the Door
At the bottom of the level, take a right again into a small space with a pressure plate and a locked door. Step on the plate to unlock the door, then push it open to enter a room with multiple statues. Open the golden chest inside before heading straight into a small corridor.
Stick to the Left Wall to Avoid the Floor Trap
On the way to the next objective, you will have to pass through a short corridor with more traps. Simply stick to the left wall to avoid accidentally triggering the trap.
4. Take the Flute and the Score Near the Statue
Past the short corridor, you will arrive in a room with a large statue. In front of the statue, placed on the cushions, take the Old Music Score and the Nameless Jade Flute. A short cutscene will play where you play the flute and revive the figures lying on the ground.
After the cutscene, you will receive two new stances: Southward Flight and Song of Longing.
5. Perform Song of Longing on the Platform
Across the statue is a large platform that needs at leat two people to activate. Stand on the platform and perform Song of Longing to draw the kneeling figures to your position, activating the platform and unlocking the door in front of you. Then, push the door open.
6. Learn Martial Arts from the Mysterious Book
Past the door is a room with treasure. Activate the Still Shore's End Boundary Stone and open the chests in the room. At the very end of the room is a table with a Mysterious Book. Take the book to learn three martial arts of your choice among eight available options:
- Thundercry Blade
- Heavenquaker Spear
- Panacea Fan
- Strategic Sword
- Mortal Rope Dart
- Vernal Umbrella
- Infernal Twinblades
- Nameless Sword
7. Find a Way Out of Heart Lake
| 7.1 |  After learning the third martial art, you will find yourself in a dark room. Push the door open to enter a cave with phantom Faceless Ones. You have to interact with three groups of Faceless Ones before leaving. Interact with the first group directly in front of the door. |

| 7.2 |  Interact with the second Faceless One on the bridge where a beam of light is shining through the surface. |
| 7.3 |  Lastly, interact with the Faceless Ones lying on the ground beyond the bridge. There is also a chest near them. |
| 7.4 |  After interacting with all phantoms, leave the bottom of Heart Lake through the gap in the wall. You will see the red candles leading to the gap. |
| 7.5 |  On the other side, follow the path leading to the summit of Heart Lake. This leads to a boss battle, so do not forget to activate the Hero's Tomb along the way. If defeated by the boss, you can respawn here. |
8. Defeat Heartseeker
Up ahead, defeat the boss Heartseeker. Watch out for the wide reach of her sweeping scythe attacks. In her second phase, watch out for her projectiles and make sure to hide behind the tombstones in the arena to avoid them.
9. Leave Still Shore
| 9.1 |  After defeating Heartseeker, you will return to the room where you learned martial arts. By the door to your left, give the Nameless Jade Flute to Cheng Xin before opening it to leave. |

| 9.2 |  Pass through a narrow passage by a waterfall, leading to a room. Pick up the letter on the table. If you jump outside the window and go to the right, you can find a chest in a passage. |
| 9.3 |  Follow the objective upstairs past another door, then talk to Doudou inside. Leave the passage by taking the ladder and slipping through the gap in the wall, leading you back to the surface. Find the Hidden Passage with the Source of Still Waters Boundary Stone
| 1 |  In the cave with the waterfall, you can jump down the cliffside, causing you to teleport to a hidden passage. Exit the passage and jump down a smaller waterfall to get the Source of Still Waters Boundary Stone on the water. Note: You can access this area again during the Dust in the Rhombus Mirror main quest. |

| 2 |  Open the doors to a monastery. Go straight ahead and look at the left side to see a large golden chest. An enemy will jump out of it once opened. Defeat it to get the chest's rewards. |
| 3 |  Go to the very end of the monastery and open the gate there. Run through the corridor and take the elevator at the end. This route will take you to a passage in Blissful Retreat, which you will return to later with Yi Dao during A Horse Neighs in the Forest. |
| 4 |  Teleport back to Still Shore via the Still Shore's End Boundary Stone to continue the main story. You will return to the chamber with Cheng Xin. |

Heartseeker is a boss fought during the Still Shore Quest. Around the edges of the arena, there will be Tombstones that you can hide behind to block Heartseeker's projectiles and survive her one-shot mechanic once she enters the 2nd phase.
Take note that these tombstones will be destroyed once she enters her 2nd phase so try to keep your distance and avoid staying in the middle of the arena.

You can earn the cosmetic rewards, but their low probability rate encourages you to grind the campaign until you receive both cosmetics. You are more likely to earn 1 Cosmetic Ticket from a Cosmetic Chest each time you clear the campaign.
