How to Unlock Thundercry Blade

Steal from The Master in Well of Heaven Martial Camp

Note: Stealing from masters will require you to unlock the Touch of Death Mystic Arts in order to eliminate some guards along the way. This Mystic Art can be obtained from completing The Realm Endures side story.
Step Objective
1
Begin by traveling to the Well of Heaven Martial Camp in the southern part of the Kaifeng region. Note that the Kaifeng region is inaccessible until you finish Chapter 1: Heaven Has No Pier, so be sure to complete it first.
2
From the camp's main entrance, climb up the wall on the left to get to the first chest. Then, turn right before reaching the first guard and make your way up the ramp and the ladder that follows to reach the first Save Point.
3
From the first Save Point, proceed along the rooftop located to your left until you reach the second chest guarded by two disciples. Assassinate the one on the left first, then the one on the right, before grabbing the chest.
4
Facing the previous chest, head to the roof directly behind it. You'll find a ledge that leads up to a building guarded by a Disciple. Assassinate him, then head inside the building. Keep to your right and go down the stairs. Assassinate the disciples along the way. The chest should be on the bottom floor.
5
After grabbing the chest, head back upstairs. You'll see a window that leads back outside. Go out the window and assassinate the disciple to your right. Continue heading in this direction and you'll find a ledge you can jump across.
6
Continue forward, using the scaffolding as your path and the various objects as cover to avoid detection. Head towards the chest and assassinate the lone disciple to the right before opening it.
7
The next chest is just across from the lone disciple guarding the previous chest. Jump across the ledge to reach it.
8
Climb the rooftop behind you and assassinate the disciple on the ledge below to drop down to the next chest. Jump to the wall on your left to reach the next Save Point.
9
Using the tightropes, proceed to the left to get access to the seventh chest. After opening the chest, head right to another set of tightropes to get to the next area. Look down to your right, and you will see the eighth chest of the camp. Wait for the two patrolling disciples to be back-to-back before assassinating them and opening the chest.
10
After grabbing the eighth chest, return the way you came and proceed deeper into the camp. You will find the last chest on the platform leading to the elevated area where the objective is located.
11
After grabbing the previous chest, continue climbing the ladder and step on the blue ring to perform a Skill Theft and obtain the Thundercry Blade Martial Art.

How to Play Thundercry Blade

Consume and Charge Fighting Spirit

Consuming and Charging Fighting Spirit is the main mechanic you'll need to play around when using the Thundercry Blade. Attacks consume Fighting Spirit and will let you unleash stronger charged attacks that lets the weapon be a strong tanking weapon without losing DPS.

Block Attacks to Regain Fighting Spirit

Blocking enemy hits can charge Fighting Spirit which makes it a good option to consider when fighting enemies. Try to block hits instead of dodging to ensure that your charged attacks can always have Fighting Spirit to use.

Skills Can Also Restore Fighting Spirit

Aside from blocking, Fighting Spirit can also be regained by using your Martial Art Skills. Predator's Shield and Shifting Heaven both restores Fighting Spirit so try to consume them first before activating your skills to maximize their value.

Use Skills to Gain Shields and Buffs

Predator's Shield and Shifting Heaven both grants shields based on your maximum HP so use them to tank hits and reduce the damage you take.

Pull Enemies With Sunrush Gale

Sunrush Gale can consume 2 Fighting Spirit to pull in nearby enemies. This effect will grant you Focus that can let you use Charged Attack faster which can be used for a follow up combo.

Follow Up With Galecloud Cleave Combo

Galecloud Cleave lets you unleash cleaving strike twice around you which pairs well with Sunrush Gale as it lets you charge Galecloud faster.
