How to Unlock Ominous Yin-Yang
Talk to Yuncai Behind the Jianlong Temple

To unlock the Wandering Tale Ominous Yin-Yang, look for Yuncai in the Ethereal Mountain. He will be behind the Jianlong Temple, sitting in the grass in front of the water fountain.

- Speak with Yuncai in Etheral Mountain
- Look For the Cave in the North
- Defeat the Cultists and Get the Kuang Pendant
- Look For the Cave in the South
- Defeat the Cultists and Get the Yi Pendant
- Return To The Back of Jianlong Temple
- Rescue Yuncai From the Cultist
- Have Your Fortune Read
Speak with Yuncai in Etheral Mountain
Speak with Yuncai, and he will tell you that he is waiting for someone, but will offer you a reading. You can choose any of the options, and it won't change the outcome. He will tell you that the feng shui is wrong. Receive all the clues from Yuncai.
Look For the Cave in the North
Go north of Ethereal Mountain, and you will find a large door with a dial in front of it. Open the door by solving the puzzle on the dial, from top to bottom. You will hear a click when you have the right symbol:
- Inner Ring: Two Short Dash - Long dash - Long dash
- Outer Ring: Long Dash - Long Dash - Long Dash
Defeat the Cultists and Get the Kuang Pendant
Enter the cave and eavesdrop on the cultist kneeling in front of the altar. Defeat the enemies and pick up the letter from the body of the defeated Daoist.
Use Fire Arrows to burn down the roots. Go up to the statue and pick up the item, Jade Pendant (Kuang).
Look For the Cave in the South
Go south of Ethereal Mountain, and you will find a large door with a dial in front of it again. Open the door by solving the puzzle on the dial, from top to bottom. You will hear a click when you have the right symbol:
- Inner Ring: Two Short Dash - Long Dash - Two Short Dash
- Outer Ring: Long Dash - Two Short Dash - Two Short Dash
Defeat the Cultists and Get the Yi Pendant
Enter the cave and eavesdrop on the cultist kneeling in front of the altar. Defeat the enemies and grab the chest on the left side of the room.
Use Fire Arrows to burn down the roots. Go up to the statue and pick up the item, Jade Pendant (Yi).
Return To The Back of Jianlong Temple
After retrieving both jade pendants, go back to Yuncai. The moment you enter the area, the ground where the Yin Yang Symbol is will open.
Rescue Yuncai From the Cultist
Jump down the passage; the cultists have taken Yuncai captive. There will be a large group of enemies waiting for you; defeat them. Grab the two treasure chests in the area before freeing Yuncai.
Have Your Fortune Read
Rescue Yuncai and give him the letter that you got from the north cave. He will ask again if you want to know your fortune. If you choose no, there will be a short dialogue that will lead you back to the choice again. The quest will end after his fortune-telling.
