Speak with Wu Yeyuan in the Fields Near Ever-Normal Granary

To unlock the Wandering Tale Fields of Fortune, talk to Wu Yeyuan in the fields near Ever-Normal Granary. Teleport here via its Boundary Stone and head south until you find him sitting among the stalks in the fields.

Fields of Fortune Walkthrough

  1. Talk to Wu Yeyuan
  2. Find the Bloodstained Hairpin
  3. Give the Hairpin to Wu Yeyuan or Chen Tiezhu

1. Talk to Wu Yeyuan

WWM - Talk to Wu Yeyuan

Talk to Wu Yeyuan, who is spying on the man Chen Tiezhu from the stalks. He will suspect that Chen Tiezhu is burying gold. You need to find a Bloodstained Hairpin.

2. Find the Bloodstained Hairpin

WWM - Bloodstained Hairpin Location

The Bloodstained Hairpin is at a nearby mill. Go there and grab the hairpin on top of a barrel, near a sleeping man.

3. Give the Hairpin to Wu Yeyuan or Chen Tiezhu

Returning to the fields, you have the option to give the Bloodstained Hairpin to Wu Yeyuan or Chen Tiezhu. Neither option affects the outcome of the quest or the rewards you receive.

WWM - Give the Bloodstained Hairpin to Wu Yeyuan

If you give the hairpin to Wu Yeyuan, he will celebrate that he has found gold at last. Talk to Chen Tiezhu next, who will deny knowing anything about the hairpin's existence. This will end the quest.

WWM - Give the Bloodstained Hairpin to Chen Tiezhu

If you give the hairpin to Chen Tiezhu, he will seem troubled upon receiving it. Talk to Wu Yeyuan, who will reveal that Chen Tiezhu suddenly passed the hairpin to him. This will also end the quest.
