To join the Midnight Blades, stain the token with blood and bring the token to Icchantika afterwards. Find out how to join the Midnight Blades Sect, what the sect's benefits are, and which values to uphold in this guide.

How to Stain the Token with Blood
Kill Any Enemy, NPC, or Animal
To stain the token with blood, defeat any enemy, NPC, or animal. This will convert the White Decree into a Corruption Decree, Icchantika Decree, or an Annihilation Token. Submit this to Icchantika to join the Midnight Blades.
Midnight Blades Clue
Head to Halo Peak
The clue is located within the proximity of the seriously injured swordsman at Halo Peak. This quest is doable whether you already belong to a sect or not, but you will need to leave your current sect if you are aiming to join the Midnight Blades.
The minimum requirement to join the Midnight Blades is to reach level 10. Once you have met this requirement, the questline for the sect will become available.
How to Join Midnight Blades
Steps on How to Join Midnight Blades

| 1 | Head to Halo Peak and talk to the Seriously Injured Swordsman Seriously Injured Swordsman  |
| 2 |  Follow the bloodstained path until you reach Icchantika, then speak with him. Select the My heart is that of an Asura dialogue option, and he will give you a White Decree. |
| 3 |  Next, you need to Stain the Token with Blood and obtain the Corruption Decree, Annihilation Token, or the Icchantika Decree. You can complete this step by slaying any target, including animals, NPCs, and other players through PVPs. |
| 4 |  Submit the Corruption Decree, Icchantika Decree, or Annihilation Token to Icchantika. You will then officially join the Midnight Blades sect and immediately receive the Infernal Twinblades Martial Art. |
Do Not to Give the Rogue Decree to Icchantika
The Rogue Decree is obtained by purchasing this from the Wine Seller in Harvestfall Village. Icchantika will reject you once you submit the Rogue Decree to him, but you will receive a different invitation that will follow the Nine Mortal Ways questline \wards.
Regardless of the Nine Mortal Ways invitiation, you can still submit the correct token to Icchantika to join the Midnight Blades.
How To Leave Midnight Blades
Steps on How To Leave the Midnight Blades Sect
| 1 |  While you are in the game with an active character, access the menu and choose Sect. |
| 2 |  On the sect menu screen, navigate to the bottom right portion and click or press the Betray Master button. |
| 3 |  You will be asked to confirm your decision to leave the sect. Press the Confirm button to proceed. |
| 4 |  After confirming your decision to leave the Midnight Blades, you must undergo a mandatory Severance Trial. In order to clear the Severance Trial, you must play a round of Perception Forest. |
Members who leave the Midnight Blades sect must participate in a Severance Trial. During the trial, participants may join any sect of their choosing, but the trial will not conclude until one match of Perception Forest is completed.

The Ranks provided above are arranged in descending order, with the Chief Elder being the highest rank.
Unlike other sects, the Midnight Blades do not give their members titles. Instead, they are given tokens that evolve as they rise through the ranks.

Midnight Blades members have access to their own sect shop. Items in the shop can be purchased using coins or reputation.
Exclusive Cosmetic Items
Members who have risen to the rank of Truth Walker can purchase exclusive hairstyles and armor. You can keep your outfits even if you leave the sect, so if you're only interested in acquiring the cosmetics and have no plans to stay with that sect, you can leave freely.

Access to the Infernal Twinblades
Upon joining the sect, all members are immediately given access to the Infernal Twinblades. A fast-hitting weapon that relies on multiple successive hits that is best paired with the Mortal Rope Dart.
Sufferer's Trial
Instead of elections, members of the Midnight Blades sect who have achieved the rank of Sufferer can participate in the Sufferer's Trials. To gain Karmic Points, players must defeat other challengers and other Sufferer ranked members.
The highest-ranked participant will receive the title of Chief Elder for a week, until the next Chief Elder is selected.

Defeat Players To Earn Karma Points
In order to reach the weekly Karma Point requirement, members of the Midnight Blades must engage in PvP with other players. Karma points are earned by successfully beating other players and are deducted if you are defeated, making his sect strictly for hardcore players who enjoy PvP.
Perception Forest
The Perception Forest is a Battle Royale-style PvP mode in which players compete against each other. The player with the most points at the end of the match is declared the winner. With so many players in one instance, it's one of the best ways to rack up Karmic Points weekly.
