How to Unlock The Art of Skill Theft

Complete Disguise - Veil of Love
|
The Art of Skill Theft unlocks automatically when you reach its quest location west of South Gate Avenue in Kaifeng city.
The Art of Skill Theft Walkthrough
| Step | Objectives |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Attempt to enter the main gate of the martial hall. Lu Youqi will stop you from going inside the building. |
| 2 |  Talk to the Mysterious Elder south of the main gate. |
| 3 |  Find Muddle sitting on the wooden chair nearby and draw his portrait. |
| 4 |  Go to Wuyan at the Fairgrounds area and choose "Put on a disguise". Select Muddle from the Portrait Selection to disguise as him. Note that you need to complete at least two Disguise Commissions to level up Wuyan's Makeup Level to 2. |
| 5 |  Attempt to enter the martial hall's inner courtyard. Pan Shui will stop you and asks for your core disciple's token. |
| 6 |  Find Tiancai inside the small house east of the martial hall. Use Wind Sense, select the token from his inventory, and choose "Ask Nicely" to obtain it. |
| 7 |  Enter the inner hall and Yang Li will stop and talk to you. Speak with Elder Tian at the house across the hall to claim the Rope Dart. |
| 8 |  Complete the Skill Theft minigame to obtain the Mortal Rope Dart martial arts. Make sure to open the two treasure chests inside the area before proceeding to the last quest objective. |
| 9 |  Go to the door on the right side where Elder Tian is standing to enter the backyard. Speak with the Mysterious Elder to complete the side quest. |
