Heartseeker	Unlocked after completing the Still Shore questline.
Qianye	Unlocked after completing the Blissful Retreat questline.
Ye Wanshan	Unlocked after completing the Bodhi Sea questline.
The Void King	Unlocked after completing the Gleaming Abyss questline.
Lucky Seventeen	Unlocked after completing the Palace of Annals questline.
Tian Ying	Unlocked after completing the The Promised Light questline.
Dao Lord	Unlocked after completing the Unbound Cavern questline.
Zheng the Frostwing	Unlocked after completing the Ever-Normal Granary questline.
Murong Yuan	Unlocked after completing the Jinming Pool: Petalfall Banquet questline.
God of Avarice	Unlocked after completing the Furnace of Righteousness questline.
River Master	Unlocked after completing the Heavenfall questline.

Campaign Bosses require you to spend Energy points in order to take them on and claim their rewards. They are unlocked as you progress the story and complete their Campaign Quest. These usually require you to take them on multiple times to further unlock specific Talents and farm certain items.

Sleeping Daoist	Region: Qinghe Area: Sundara Land Can be found between two Waypoints in the middle of Jadebrook Mountain.
Puppeteer - Curtaincall	Region: Qinghe Area: Sundara Land Can be found in a small island at the northwest border of Sundara Land.
Earth Fiend Deity	Region: Qinghe Area: Moonveil Mountain Can be found next to the road leading south between Witherwilds and Peace Bell Tower.
Snake Doctor	Region: Qinghe Area: Moonveil Mountain Can be found inside an underground cave to the west side of Encircling Lake.
Yi Dao	Region: Qinghe Area: Moonveil Mountain Can be found by touching the Sword next to the tree near the burned building.
Wolf Maiden	Region: Kaifeng Area: Granary of Plenty Can be found by the eastern edge of Desperation Ridge.
Twin Lions	Region: Kaifeng Area: Granary of Plenty Can be found at the south side of Gracetown.
Ghost Master	Region: Kaifeng Area: Granary of Plenty Can be found by the western edge of Mistveil Forest.
Feng Ruzhi	Region: Kaifeng Area: Roaring Sands

World Bosses are unique bosses that you can find in specific areas which typically roam throughout the open world. These bosses are not tied to any questline and have certain level recommendations that can be met to take them on easier.

As you progress through the story, you can encounter a few Bosses that can only be found during a certain questline. This can range between the Main Chapters, which progress the main story of the game, and Fragment Chapters, which are side quests that you can find as you explore the map.

Demon Goose	Region: Qinghe Area: Moonveil Mountain Can be found by the bridge near West Heaven's Pier.

Challenge Fights contain difficult bosses that unlock certain achievements and are in no way related to any story progress. They are mostly considered as skill-checks for those looking for a more challenging fight and are not required to defeat in order to progress further in the game.

Mini Bosses are stronger and named variants of normal enemies, typically encountered in Places of Interests, such as Outposts. Mini Bosses, or Moderate Talent Enemies are usually fought after clearing outposts, serving as the outpost's final boss before receiving the rewards.

Focus on Parrying and Dodging

Majority of Boss attacks can be parried to avoid damage and set you up for an opening. Learn the boss patterns and movesets so you can get used to their parry timings and defeat them with ease.

Do note that attacks with a red glow require you to Perfect Parry to immediately execute a counterattack and knock them down for a few seconds. Attacks with a gold glow are completely unblockable and needs to be dodged instead to avoid damage.

Delay Execute Attacks to the Last Second

Once a Boss is exhausted after depleting their Qi, they will be stunned temporarily and will give you a huge opening to perform your most powerful combos. Make sure to deal as much damage as you can while they are exhausted and only use the Execute attack at the last second of the exhaust duration to maximize your damage output.

Save Energy for Late Game

Energy is a resource that slowly regenerates over time and is typically used for taking on specific Campaign Bosses. We recommend progressing the story first to reach late game so you can reap higher quality rewards and unlock additional Talents that can enhance your gameplay.

Take note that Campaign Bosses have first-time rewards that does not require Energy consumption so we recommend taking them on at least once as you progress through the game. Additionally, some Talents require you to spend a certain amount of Energy points on a Boss in order for you to unlock more Talents under their section.

Bring Companions to Assist in Boss Fights

Certain Bosses in the game allow you to bring an NPC or Companion along with you to take on the boss fight together. We highly recommend bringing Companions as they can help aggro the boss, deal damage, and provide heals to make the fight easier.
