This is a PvP centric build that focuses on ranged combat and mid-range CCs to poke and slowly whittle down enemy players. Play around both martial arts to kite enemies and get good pokes to win fights flawlessly.

Your main choice of Martial Arts are the Moertal Rope Dart and Vernal Umbrella. Both weapons have disables and ranged options that let them work together. Vernal Umbrella has a special skill that immobilizes enemies while Rope Dart gives knock down options from its charged attack, sustain, and pulls that can even be comboed with the Umbrella's immobilzation skill.

 Riptide Reflex |
Hitting an Enemy with a Control Skill reduces the Cooldown of the current Martial Arts Skill by 1s. This effect can only trigger once every 10s. Affected Control Skills include: Bladebound Thread, Coiled Dragon, Qiankun's Lock, Spring Sorrow, Moon Shatter Spring, Wayfarer's Drift, Peak's Springless Silence. |
 Morale Chant |
80% chance to gain one stack of Yi River when attacking or healing. Yi River: Increases Physical Damage and healing by 1% for 8 seconds, stacking up to 5 times. The chance to gain Yi River is only calculated once every 2 seconds. |
 Bitter Seasons |
When dealing damage, there is a 10% chance to apply a Poison effect for 5 seconds, dealing damage once per second. The Poison reduces target's Physical Defense by 0.6% for 10 seconds, stacking up to 5 times (duration refreshed upon stacking). |
 Blossom Barrage |
Vernal Umbrella's Martial Arts Skill Spring Sorrow can hold up to 2 stacks. Hitting a target applies the Combo effect: Increases Damage taken from the caster's Ballistic Skills by 10% for 8s. Affected Ballistic Skills include: Martial Arts Skill Let Spring Go, Special Skill Everbloom. |
For a ranged kiting build, we want to utilize on-hit effects and survivability to let us continuously output consistent and safe DPS. Blossom Barrage lets us conserve our Spring Sorrow and give us two uses when the opportunity arises instead of 1 while Morale Chant and Bitter seasons gives us extra DPS while hitting with ranged attacks from afar.

4 Set Effect: A Perfect Dodge of an enemy attack has a 50% chance of restoring 3% of your Max HP and 10 Endurance. |
For our sets, we use the Veil of the Willow and Calmwaters, Veil of the Willow lets us abuse both of our aerial and and land pokes as Vernal Umbrella provides a lot of opportunity to activate aerial hits to get our land damage buffs.
Calmwaters is a defensive set that gives us extra Hp and endurance for better kiting.
Stat Priority
For stat priorities, you'll want to get minimum physical attack damage as you'll mostly be chipping enemies with pokes and small bursts of combos throughout the fight. HP and Physical defense are also great for outlasting enemies in a duel.

Stun Combo Rotation
- Use Spring Sorrow to Stop Enemies
- Follow it Up With Unfading Flower to start our ranged DPS setup
- Weapon swap to Rope Dart and use Bladebound Thread and its follow up combo kick for follow up damage (won't knock down enemies).
Kiting Rotation
- Use Ropedart's Charging Stance (hold it to gain healing)
- If enemies approach, time it with a light attack to stop enemies in their track. As the chain lands, use guard to cancel the pull back animation,
- Use bladebound thread to pull the enemy and follow it up with the combo kick for poke damage.
Use Vernal Umbrella's Charged Light Attack to Fight From Afar
Once enemies are outside the rope dart's range, focus on using the umbrella and its charged light attack to hit enemies from afar by floating. This gives you a good damage source without putting yourself near danger.
