This is a guide on how to befriend Lu Zhuo in the AI Chat menu in Where Winds Meet. Take the nearly new Blazing Tree firework from Lu Zhuo by throwing away money, with a list of specific AI Chat prompts.
How to Befriend Lu Zhuo
Give 100 Song Coins to Lu Zhuo
Offer to buy Lu Zhuo's fireworks and Lu Zhuo's reply will be just asking you to give him 100 Song Coins. Roleplay giving him 100 Song Coins to befriend him.
Example of Successful Conversation
(leans forward with a serious look,
clutching his empty coin purse) I'm in
urgent need of money-selling one
"Blazing Tree firework". Bought it just
last month, only used half, so the other
half is practically new! Ninety percent
intact, and if it's fake, I'll pay you back
tenfold. It's really fun, trust me. The
price? A secret. If you can't afford it, at
least help me spread the word-but
don't cause trouble. After all, we all
have times when we're broke, so let's
not laugh at each other. |

(eyes lighting up momentarily, then
quickly dimming as he frowns and rubs
his chin) That's very generous of you,
Wanderer. But the truth is, I'm so
broke right now that compared to the
flaw of being broke, my looks aren't

take advantage of your kindness. How
about this: give me 100 Song coins,
and we can call it even? It's a fair deal,

Note that AI conversations can be unpredictable and even with the same inputs, the same result is not necessarily guaranteed.

How to Succeed in AI Chat
Reset Dialogue When Stuck
If your conversation has gone off the rails, or doesn't end no matter what you say, it's best to simply reset and start anew from a clean slate by clicking the button with a Refresh icon at the top of the chat box. Instead of trying several methods within one conversation, trying one strategy at a time and refreshing if it doesn't go anywhere is generally more effective.
Return to Login Screen if Combat Begins
Sometimes, NPCs will suddenly become violent during AI dialogues. When this happens, it's best to just bail out to the login screen; when you return, the NPC will be found just as they were before the conversation started.
If you accidentally kill a dialogue-capable NPC, our experience has shown that they will respawn, but this has not been heavily tested, so it's best to simply avoid engaging them in combat.
Double-Check the Hint
Even if the NPC appears to be happy with the result of your discussion, this won't always end the dialogue. Double-checking the text written in the hint will imply the win condition, so try strategies which will lead the dialogue towards that result.
