Track the Jianghu Legacy 06 from the Qinghe Exploration Menu

Ask the Wayfarer at Moonveil Mountain
|
To unlock the quest Jianghu Legacy - 06 Cries in the Distance, talk to the Wayfarer of Moonveil Mountain. To track the quest, select it from the Jianghu Legacy tab of the Exploration menu and inspect it to reveal its location and start tracking the quest.

- Go to Moonveil Peak
- Find the Owner of the Voice
- Enter the Cave
- Descend into the Mountain
- Free Brother Feng
- Solve the Yin Yang Puzzle
- Explore the New Area
- Defeat the Thick-Skinned Albino Black Bear
- Speak with Brother Feng
Go to Moonveil Peak
Head to Moonveil Peak. If unlocked, you can teleport to this location directly or to the Front Mountain and walk your way up. Once you arrive at Moonveil Peak, you will hear a mysterious voice.

Find the Owner of the Voice
Locate the source of the cries for help by following the voice. There will be an indicator on the screen that shows the direction and how close you are to the voice.
Enter the Cave
From the entrance, walk towards the ledge, carefully scale down the mountainside until you reach the cave beneath the tree. You can also grab the chest on the next ledge before you enter the cave.
Descend into the Mountain
Inside the cave will be a door leading into the mountain. Enter the lower level and find the trapped person behind the pillar on the right side of the candles, across from where you spawn into the room.
Free Brother Feng
You need to activate the array to free him. Directly behind you will be a cave covered in roots; shoot it with Fire Arrows to open the path and enter the circle. This will open the stone wall and free Brother Feng. Grab the chest in there as well.
Speak with Brother Feng and step into the circle where the quest tracker is to complete the Eight Trigrams Formation. Speak with Feng again.
Solve the Yin Yang Puzzle
| Steps | Instructions |
|---|---|
| 6.1 |  To solve the Puzzle, you need one set of opposing pillars to be facing each other, and another set to be facing away from each other. ★ 1 and 3 are the Heaven and Earth pair, which means they can move independently from each other. ★ 2 and 4 are the Water and Fire Pair, which means that they move with each other. ★ The two circles on the floor in the Yin Yang Dial Bind the Water and Fire Pair. |
| 6.2 |  First rotate pillars 1 and 3 to face each other. |
| 6.3 |  Rotate the Yin Yang Dial until the circles on the floor are aligned to Heaven(1) and Earth(3). This will let you rotate the Fire and Water pillars independently. |
| 6.4 |  Rotate pillars 2 and 4 so they area facing away from each other. Make sure that you have rotated the Yin Yang Dial before this; otherwise, the pillars will rotate together. |
| 6.5 | The Yin Yang Dial will sink into the ground, revealing a path deeper into the mountain. |
Explore the New Area
After solving the puzzle, drop into the hole using Mighty Drop and explore the cave's secrets. After getting everything from the cave, follow Brother Feng.
Defeat the Thick-Skinned Albino Black Bear
Entering the next area will trigger a battle with the Thick-Skinned Albino Black Bear. You will need to use the Mystic Arts to have it crash against stones on the right, left, and front of the cave. You can use Tai Chi to capture the bear and toss it against rock piles.

Speak with Brother Feng
After defeating the bear, get the treasure from the chests and speak with Brother Feng to complete the quest.
