The Void King Best Companion
The best companion to bring with against The Void King would be Elder Gongsun due to his ability to stagger and knock down enemies for crowd control. He can draw aggro and stun-lock the The Void King with ease, giving you huge openings for burst damage and a chance to recover your health.
The Void King Location
Found at Gleaming Abyss in Moonveil Mountain
In order to unlock The Void King, you will need to complete the Gleaming Abyss campaign quest to progress further.
Once you have finished the quest, you can find The Void King's Campaign version at the Moonveil Mountain area in the Qinghe region.

Stay Close to Parry Red AttacksStay Close to Parry Red Attacks
Try to stay close to The Void King throughout the fight as he adjusts his attacks based on the distance between you two. If you are too far, he will start doing ranged attacks and possibly execute a yellow unblockable attack that you need to dodge.
We recommend staying close to make him execute his red attack and prepare to deflect it for a counterattack so you can slowly whittle down his Qi bar and exhaust him for an execute attack.
Dodge His Projectile Attacks
During both of Void King's phases, he can throw out a bunch of ice projectiles that are completely unblockable and can inflict a debu. We suggest dodging his projectiles as much as possible since they can shave off a good chunk of your health when hit.

Parry the Gale Blade
The Void King channels a powerful Leaping Strike that impacts a large, red-glowing area. Group up as a team inside the indicated area and parrying together to deal immense Qi Damage and interrupt the strike.
Spread Out Your Team Positioning
The Void King excels at area-of-effect damage and control. Spread apart as a team to prevent multiple skills from targeting all players simultaneously. Fight in the center of the battlefield to avoid being cornered.
Mind the Tornadoes
The Void King summons slow-moving tornadoes that damage and stagger your team. We recommend removing target lock on the boss to effectively monitor and avoid the tornadoes' current path during the fight.
Manipulate the Howling Wind
The Void King's Howling Wind automatically targets the tank player. Manipulate this attack by having the tank player strategically move to guide the attack's direction.
This allows for two main tactics: either the tank moves away from the direction of the team, letting other players freely hit the boss, or the tank moves toward the team, enabling all players to Parry the incoming Howling Wind for Qi Damage.

| Windfall | Void King marks one player, indicated by an orange circle, then throws a wind projectile after a short delay. We recommend staying away from the marked player, or parrying the projectile if you are the marked player. |
| Formless Storm | Void King moves to the center of the arena, before slamming his staff and dealing AoE damage. A wall of wind will also appear, dealing continous damage to players passing through it. We recommend moving away from Void King during the attack, and staying inside the wind arena to avoid unnecessary damage. |
