Where Winds Meet How to Upgrade Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded via the bag or the develop menu in Where Winds Meet. Find out how to upgrade weapons and how the weapon upgrade system works in this guide.

Upgrade Weapons From the Bag

Open the bag
During normal gameplay, open the bag to access your all of your obtained gear.

Click on the Weapon Slot
Click on the weapon slot you want to upgrade. Your current gear will be in a separate section from all your other obtained gear, making it easier to spot the slot your current weapon is using.

Click on Enhance
After selecting the slot that your weapon currently occupies, click Enhance.

Click on Enhance Again
After clicking Enhance, you will be taken to a new menu where you can see all your gear slots and their current levels. Click Enhance again to confirm the upgrade.
Note: Upgrading consumes enhancement materials, and each gear slot has to be upgraded individually.

Upgrade Weapons from the Gear Menu

Click on Develop
Alternatively, you can enhance it from the Develop menu. It is located just beside the bag menu, to the right.

Click on the Gear List
Click on the gear list located on the left.

Click the Weapon Slot
Click on the slot that has the weapon you wish to upgrade is in, and click on enhance.

Click on Enhance Again
The last menu will be displayed afterwards, where all of the gear and weapon slots can be enhanced individually. Click on Enhance to confirm.

Weapon Upgrades Explained

Upgrades Apply to the Slot, Not the Weapon

The Weapon Upgrade system is unique in that players do not need to enhance each weapon individually. Players only need to upgrade the two weapon slots they have, allowing for seamless switching of weapons.

This system gives players the freedom to experiment with different playstyles, switch weapons and Martial Arts at any time, and change their gameplay without falling too far behind.
