Play the Skill Theft Minigame

Skill Theft Minigame

You can steal Martial Arts by looking for the Master who practices that Martial Art, and performing a Skill Theft. Performing a skill theft is fairly simple; just press the
button that appears when the indicator glows yellow.

Complete the Skill Theft minigame successfully and you will receive a Martial Art.

How to Unlock Skill Theft

Complete the Skill Theft: Unearned Lesson Quest

Skill Theft Exploration Quest

In order to obtain the Skill Theft skill, you must complete the Skill Theft: Unearned Lesson exploration quest. Begin the quest by teleporting to the Moonveil Peak Boundary Stone and talking to Qiu Yuhai, who is found behind a rock.

Unlocks Martial Arts

Skill Theft is an exploration skill that allows you to steal Martial Arts from masters found throughout the Jianghu. By infiltrating sect sanctuaries and other locations, you can find a master and perform a skill theft to obtain a Martial Art.

This allows you to learn martial arts without joining the associated sect. In most cases, sects require you to join in order to learn their affiliated Martial Art.
