Sentient Beings are the exploration checklists of a location within a region in Where Winds Meet. See the lists of the Sentient Beings in each region and the rewards for fully completing them!

| ・Click on the arrow in the upper left corner to access our sidebar to check all other pins and even search for individual pins. ・Pins checked off the map will reflect in the list below. ・For map pin suggestions, please list down as much information as you can including reward data or complex acquisition methods. ・For images, uploading a full rectangular screenshot with a resolution of at least 728 x 410 pixels will be highly appreciated. ・Do not forget to mention which Map Layer you are suggesting a pin for. We encourage users to sign up and log in to save your progress with the map. |
All Sentient Being Types
| Sentient Being | How to Complete |
|---|---|
 Antiques |
 Some items can be tagged as Past-Tracable, meaning you will have to learn the history of the item. These are items you can pickup as normal loot in the overworld but can be identified as antiques when you inspect them in your inventory. |
 Boundary Stone |
 Boundary Stones are fast travel point scattered throughout the map. Interact with a Boundary Stone first to activate it for future use. |
 Meow Meow |
 Meow Meow lets you meet a magical kitten that won't stop meowing as it waits for someone to solve its puzzle. Solving the cat's puzzles will reward you with its gifts. |
 Oddity Collection |
 Oddities come in different shapes and forms. They mostly do not appear on the main map but are visible in your mini map. Give them to an Oddity Collector NPC to upgrade your Melodies of Peace. |
 Martial Fellowship |
 Make friends through martial prowess by challenging heroes and warriors from all over walks of life. |
 Healer Healing |
You can heal the sick of their affliction as long as it is within your capabilities as a healer. |
 Gift of Gab Debate |
 Gift of Gab Debate is a minigame that lets you debate against someone by choosing one of the available dialogue options to deal damage against your opponent. |
 Graceful Melody |
 Graceful Melody is a rhythm minigame where you'll have to press the button on time once the notes hit the circle. Netting a high score will give you rewards. |
 Fishing Contest |
 Challenge master anglers and catch the biggest fish to win fishing contests! These challenges will have their own difficulty and requirements. |
 Pitch Pot |
 Pitch Pot is a minigame that lets you throw dart to the pots while being drunk. This can be challenging as your character will be drunk and you'll have to outscore your opponent in order to win. |
 Archery Competition |
 Challenge NPCs in friendly archery contest of shooting down targets in open spaces. |
 Chess Match |
 Challenge NPCs to a friendly game of Xiangqi (Chinese Chess) where each victory could get you more Affection Points and learn more about their backstory! |
 Madiao |
Madiao is an ancient trick-card game where the objective is to lose all your cards without getting drunk or busted! |
 Riddle |
 Test your wits with Kaifeng's popular riddle game. Figure out the hidden word within a predetermined number of turns! |
 Universal Harmony |
 There are many scenic locations throughout the map but some of them are very well hidden. Luckily, there are gold colored butterflies that you can find in the map that will guide you to those beautiful spots. |
 Hidden Path |
 Similar to Universal Harmony, blue butterflies will lead you to hidden paths that will lead to either treasures or wonderful viewpoints. |
 Wild Ritual Ghost Fire |
 Wild Ritual Ghost Fire will have you follow red butterflies that will guide you to a shrine that contains a treasure. |
 Cat Play |
 Some cats just need some loving pets. Look for any stray cat you can find in the overworld and give them pets for exploration points. |
 Injustice |
 Injustices are miniquests that you can encounter in the overworld. Listen to the plight of the people and the land, some injustices may be more than meets the eye. |
 Chest Collection |
 Chests can be found in all sorts of places. These will be seen in your HUD if you have the exploration set to Detailed, but will not appear on the map itself. |
 Camp |
 Several enemies and bandits have made camp along major routes. In most cases, these camps will also contain chests! Be cautious in your approach. |
What Are Sentient Beings?
Exploration Completion
Sentient Beings are your completion rate within a location of the region. This lists how many more activities and points of interests you are missing in a location and will only reach 100% once you unlock everything in the location.
Sentient Beings Completion Rewards
 Echo Jade
|
100% completion of a location's Sentient Beings rewards a certain amount of Echo Jade.
