You can earn Smoldering Ashes in Diablo 4 (D4) by reaching specific Free Tiers in the seasonal Battle Pass. Read on to learn how to get Smoldering Ashes and how to use them!
As shown in the May Developer Update Livestream, you can obtain Smoldering Ashes by reaching specific tiers in the Free Track of the Seasonal Battle Pass.
Note that Smoldering Ashes have a secondary character level requirement before you can claim them in the Battle Pass. This restriction is due to the developers wanting to prevent players from directly buying in-game power.
Seasonal Battle Pass Guide and Rewards
You can spend Smoldering Ashes to unlock and upgrade Seasonal Blessings, which provide bonuses to your XP gain, Gold drops, Obol drops, and other unique buffs.
While players can have multiple Seasonal Blessings active at once, note that these buffs only last until the end of their respective Season.
In addition, note that Smoldering Ashes will not transfer over from previous Seasons, preventing you from immediately unlocking Seasonal Blessings in future Seasons.
