System That Rewards Players for Completing Activities

Diablo 4 - Battle Pass

The Battle Pass, or the Season Pass, is a system that gives players rewards by leveling it up. Players can increase its level by earning Battle Pass XP (also known as Favor) through in-game activities.

These activities yield different amounts of Favor, which is usually scaled to its difficulty. Completing these activities not only contribute to leveling up the Season Pass, but also helps players in building their characters and progressing the game as a whole.

Requires a Seasonal Character to Progress

In order to progress and level up the Battle Pass, players will have to create and play with a new Seasonal Character, as confirmed by Franchise General Manager Rod Fergusson on Twitter. This also means that characters already in the Eternal Realm cannot help level up or progress the Battle Pass.

The Battle Pass can be leveled up by earning Favor from playing season characters, completing season quests, participating in events, and more. Players can consult the Season Journey, a returning feature that guides players on objectives they can complete in order to level up their Battle Pass more efficiently.
