Battle Pass Reliquaries Explained
A New System To Choose Cosmetic Rewards
The Battle Pass Reliquary is a new system for cosmetics coming to Diablo's Season 8 update and will be replacing the previous battle pass reward system. The Reliquary system allows you to choose between premium and free reliquaries and spend favor token to redeem a cosmetic reward.
Completing a Reliquary Allows you to Get a Bonus Cosmetic
Aside from the standard cosmetic you can get from the Reliquary, you can also get its final bonus item for free if you are able to redeem all items from that Reliquary.
Requires Favor Tokens to Redeem
Reliquary items can be redeemed by spending in-game currencies called Favor Token. Favor Token can be obtained by defeating enemies and completing quests and requires no real life money to obtain.
You Can Hold Up to 99 Tokens
Favor Tokens are completely farmable and you're able to hold up to 99 at once before spending it on Reliquaries. Additionally, Favor Tokens can also be carried over to the next season which grants you an extra headstart with reliquary rewards if you do so choose to farm them early.
However, you won't be able to gain more Favor Tokens if you're already holding the max tokens so it's wise to spend them if you have items you can still purchase in the Reliquary
Contains Regular and Premium Reliquaries
Following the standard Battle Pass, the Reliquaries also have regular version and premium versions. Premium versions costs platinum to open and doing so will allow you to obtain the items from that reliquary by spending the necessary favor tokens.
How to Redeem Items Using Favor Tokens
Use Your Favor Tokens on the Reliquary Menu
To redeem items, you must choose the item you wish to redeem on the reliquary. Once chosen, spend the Favor Token you currently have to redeem the said item/cosmetic.
Premium and Deluxe Battle Pass Bundles
Premium Bundles Contains All Reliquary Bundles
Aside from regular reliquaries, there will also be Premium Bundles that can contain all reliquaries as well as some few additional items you can get.
Deluxe Battle Pass
Lastly, there is also the Deluxe Battle Pass that you can get for a higher platinum price which can reward you with unique, exclusive items that can only be obtained during the said season.

Aside from the usual reliquaries for each season, the game may also launch reliquaries tied to events and may have their own dates and reward set. These will always be separate from the game's seasonal reliquaries so stay tuned for the game's news and obtain the newest cosmetics from every event reliquaries!
