Combo Points mainly affect your Basic and Core skills, allowing you to build up to three combo points using your Basic skill. Your stacked combo points can then be unleashed as a more powerful Core skill that has no energy cost.
Depending on which Core Skill you used, various buffs may apply after using Combo Points. These buffs include increased damage, movement speed, attack speed, extra arrows, or knockdowns.

Inner Sight is a Specialization unlocked at level 20. This specialization marks an enemy with a purple icon while in combat; attacking marked enemies fills up your Inner Sight Gauge found beside your Energy Bar.

Once full you will gain unlimited energy for 4 seconds.
Note that if the marked target survives for more than 10 seconds, the mark switches to another target. Don't worry about needing to fill up the Inner Sight meter as your progress toward the buff does not decay and will carry over into your next skirmish.
Preparation is a Specialization unlocked at level 30. This allows you to reduce the cooldown of your ultimate skill cooldown by 4 seconds, additionally, your other skill cooldowns are reset after using your ultimate.
This is a powerful specialization to use especially for players who rely on their skills to boost their damage, traverse areas quickly, or defend themselves as they can cast their other skills almost anytime.
Combo Points are one of the best Specialization skills since the Rogue class inherently cycles between Basic Attacks and Core Skills to swiftly burst down enemies. The additional effect on your Core Skills when consuming Combo Points can drastically boost your overall damage output.
Specializations are power-ups that cater to a specific playstyle or simply buffs that benefit the player that uses them. Specializations can be swapped anytime so players can experiment on which Specialization suits them best.
