What Will the New Class Be?
Witch Doctor or New Class
The Lord of Hatred announcement includes the reveal of two new classes. The Paladin is already available in Season 11 as a pre-order bonus for the expansion, while the other silhouette in the trailer is still up for speculation.
The new class could be a Witch Doctor supported by the horn or bone-like protrusions on its shoulders. Using the same reference, it can also be a demon-like class with mutations in its body.
How To Unlock the Paladin Class
Likely Not the Amazon
The Amazon will unlikely return in Diablo 4 primarily due to lore reasons. In the world of Diablo, there are no male Amazons,. Though the Amazon was available in Diablo 2; the Amazon and all other classes in the title were gender-locked.
However, there is a small chance that the female exclusivity of Amazons can be retconned by Blizzard. Similar to Deckard Cain supposedly being the last Horadrim in Diablo 2, but in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, we see more Horadrim butchered by Malthael.
New Class Release Date
Releases on April 28, 2026
The new class will be released alongside the Lord of Hatred expansion on April 28, 2026. The class would come along with new updates, content, areas, quests, and a lot more!
