During the Vessel of Hatred announcement, it was confirmed that the upcoming class will be entirely new for the Diablo series. Due to this, it unfortunately cannot be the Amazon or the Paladin despite the expansion being set in a jungle region and having many callbacks to Diablo 2.
Despite what was said, the new class could still be a reimagining of the Amazon class but with new skills and mechanics to avoid being too similar to the Rogue. It could even have Holy Powers similar to the Paladin, since no class has a theme around faith yet.
The new class will be released alongside with the Vessel of Hatred expansion sometime in late 2024. This would suggest during the 3rd or 4th quarter of that year. However, this date may change depending on Blizzard's roadmap, and so this page will be updated once a definitive date is announced.
