Hatred Rising Region Event

Hatred Rising is a regional zone event that spawns a Realmwalker that roams throughout the entire region. Head for the portal location and activate it to spawn an Abhorrent Manifestation that requires you to defeat it to awaken the Realmwalker itself.

Realmwalker

Realmwalkers are colossal enemies that cannot be damaged initially. In order to damage them, you have to eliminate the nearby hollow mobs to summon Bloodbound Guardians and kill them to whittle down their health while they slowly walk toward their destination.

Once the Realmwalker has reached its destination, it will spawn 3 Hatred Spires that you need to destroy, which will let you damage its health bar directly and ultimately defeat it.

Realmwalker Spawn Time

The Realmwalker will spawn every 15 minutes and rotates between all other regions. If you have the Vessel of Hatred DLC, a second Realmwalker will also spawn in Nahantu every hour.

Keep in mind that the first Realmwalker of every hour will be a Whisper event that can reward Grim Favors. The Realmwalker that spawns in Nahantu will also be a Whisper event every 3rd hour.

Seething Realm Dungeon

Seething Realm is a two-part dungeon that can only be accessed after defeating a Realmwalker. The first part of the dungeon consists of a short area leading to the Realm Gate, where you can pick a realm bonus that affects your Seething Opal reward. The second part is where you have to eliminate some mobs and elites to find and unlock the chest containing materials and your Seething Opal elixir rewards.

Realm Gate Bonuses

We recommend taking the Torment Challenges realm bonus as this will give you a higher chance of obtaining the Seething Opal of Torment, which allows you to obtain Boss Summoning Materials, Infernal Compasses for the Infernal Horde, and Artificer's Stones used for The Pit from any enemy you kill while the elixir is active.

Keep in mind that this stacks with other elixirs and incense so you can add this up with ones that can increase experience gain as well.

Hatred Rising Rewards

Seething Opal Elixirs

Completing the Hatred Rising event and defeating a Realmwalker will cause it to leave behind a portal that leads to the Seething Realm. This new dungeon offers the new Seething Opal elixirs, which gives effects such as 15% increased experience gain, as the main reward for clearing it.

How to Get Seething Opals

Veiled Crystals and Legendary Gear Drops

Aside from the guaranteed Seething Opal drops, you can also pick up Veiled Crystals and Legendary Gear from the chest reward you get at the end of the dungeon. Keep in mind that these are not sure drops and may vary from time to time.

What is Hatred Rising?

New Region Event for Season 6

Hatred Rising is a new event introduced in Season 6. This region-wide event spawns a portal that when interacted, becomes a Realmwalker that roams toward its destination while also spawning hollow mobs nearby.

Once you have defeated the Realmwalker, another portal will spawn that leads to the Seething Realm, a dungeon that rewards Seething Opal elixirs.
