Diablo 4 - Are There Set Items in Diablo 4?

Set Items will not be part of Diablo 4 (D4) at the game's launch but will come later on. Read on to learn if there are Set Items in the game and what Set Items are.

Are There Set Items in Diablo 4?

Not At Launch


During the Developer Update Livestream, Diablo 4 game director Joe Shely confirmed that while set items won't be part of the game at launch, they will come at a later time as part of the game's live service.

Not much detail has been given in regards to this decision except that the developers want to make sure that these set items will work well in Diablo 4.

What Are Set Items?

In previous games in the series, Set Items would usually refer to a group of high quality items. These items are on par with Legendary items and should you equip all items in a set, these would grant your character additional bonus effects.
