Lorath Nahr's Role in Diablo 4
Guides the Player Character
In Diablo 4, Lorath Nahr acts as a significant guiding character for the player. Early in the story, he provides the Wanderer (player character) with knowledge of Lilith, Inarius, and Sanctuary and helps them reach Kyovashad.
Later in the story, the Wanderer reunites with Lorath and the two continue their search for Lilith and Elias and ways to stop them from wreaking havoc in Sanctuary.
Who Is Lorath Nahr?
Member of the Horadrim
Lorath Nahr is a member of the Horadrim, an organization whose goal is to keep Sanctuary safe from the Prime Evils. Lorath first appeared in Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, assisting the Nephalem (player character) and former archangel Tyrael on their journey to dispatch the traitorous Malthael.
Became a Hermit in Fractured Peaks
After the events of Diablo 3, Lorath Nahr became a reclusive hermit living in the snowy Fractured Peaks. Despite being much older, Lorath still retains the wealth of forbidden knowledge he obtained while in the Horadrim, making him a crucial ally in the fight against Lilith.
