Welcome Back Booster Release Date
Permanent Feature in the Eternal Realm
As of the release of Patch 2.1.0 last January 21, 2025, the Welcome Back booster is now a permanent feature for Eternal Realm characters. This allows returning players to instantly gain a power boost when they return to Diablo 4.
The Welcome Back booster was introduced last November 19, 2024, as a limited-time event only.

The Welcome Back booster is intended for characters in the Eternal Realm. The boost includes the characters being leveled up to 50 with three pre-made builds for each class.
This design allows players to update their legacy gear to the new item changes introduced in Patch 2.0. This change may also help players clear their item hoards from previous seasons.
Additionally, base game owners can boost 1 Eternal character, while people with the Vessel of Hatred expansion can boost 2 Eternal characters of their choosing.

Unlocks All Altars of Lilith
The Welcome Back booster also unlocks all Altars of Lilith simply by logging in. This bonus is not exclusive to eternal characters but is also available to Seasonal players, allowing all players to skip this part of the grind.

How to Boost Your Character
Use the Fated Reliquary in Kyovashad
Travel to the tavern in Kyovashad with your eternal character and interact with the Fated Reliquary inside to unlock the boost. Even if your Eternal Character is already level 50 you will still receive the rest of the Legendary items and option for the builds geared towards your class.
