Diablo 4 (D4) servers are down due to an emergency maintenance for technical issues ahead of the Vessel of Hatred Expansion and Season 6 launch. Read on to learn more about the server status and what to do if you experience issues connecting to the server.
Diablo 4 Server Status
Servers are Down for Emergency Maintenance
Due to unexpected technical issues, the servers have been taken down for emergency maintenance ahead of the Vessel of Hatred Expansion and Season 6 launch on October 8. Adam Fletcher (PezRadar), the Community Manager, announced that the expansion and season's release will be delayed as a result of the maintenance.
Although no specific time has been provided for how long the downtime will last, the game is still expected to go live later this night. Be prepared for a few hours of delay until the servers are back online.
Returns an Error Code When Logging In
If you try logging in during the emergency maintenance, you will encounter Error Code 315306, which indicates an issue validating your game's license. This error is expected to be resolved once the servers are back online.
How to Check Server Status
Check the Blizzard Support Website for the Maintenance Schedule
Players can head over to the official Blizzard Support website to check if there are any maintenance scheduled for that week. Note that only planned downtime will appear here.
Check Official Twitter Accounts
In addition to the official Blizzard Support Website, players can check official accounts such as Blizzard CS twitter for North American servers, Blizzard CS EU twitter for European servers, and the main Diablo twitter account.
