Den Mother is the boss in Light's Watch dungeon in Diablo 4 (D4). Learn everything you need to know to defeat her, such as the Den Mother's attack patterns, how to beat the Den Mother, rewards from killing the Den Mother, and the Den Mother's Location down below!
How to Defeat the Den Mother
Dodge the Den Mother's Attacks
Slash Attacks
The Den Mother has a slash attack that can shred your health in seconds. Prepare to dodge when she swings her arm back. Make sure to dodge away from the Den Mother instead of dodging to the side since she can follow your direction before lunging at you.
Ground Pound and Pools of Blood Attack
The Den Mother will also do a ground pound attack and summon pools of blood in the area. Avoid walking on these pools of blood since it deals a lot of damage. At the start, she will also be briefly stuck doing the ground pound animation, so you can try to get behind her and attack.
Teleport Swipe Attack
The Den Mother can disappear briefly and teleport next to you for a swipe attack. When she disappears, just keep moving and dodge away when she reappears.
Distance Away from the Den Mother
The Den Mother only has melee attacks, which means she has to get close to do any damage. If you are a ranged class, always keep your distance and keep moving away from her to survive the boss fight.
Use Tank Skills and Manage Your Potion Use
For Barbarians, it will be tough getting in to attack. Try to use your tank skills when your dodge is on cooldown to absorb some damage. This lets you trade damage without losing too much health. Also, try to use only 3 potions at most until the Den Mother drops 2 more potions when you lower her health at a certain point.
Den Mother Rewards
Aspect of Conflagration, Gold, and EXP
Once defeated, the Den Mother will grant you the Aspect of Conflagration, gold, experience points, and equipment (of varying rarity).

You can find the Den Mother in the Light's Watch dungeon located at the bottom center of the map, as shown.
