Using Tributes in the Kurast Undercity offers the best method for targeted farming of specific Legendaries. Tributes allow you to choose a specific characteristic the Legendary rewards would have, such as equipment type, the type of Legendary Aspect they have, or the type of Affixes.

Diablo 4 - Gamble at the Purveyor of Curiosities

Spending Murmuring Obols at the Purveyor of Curiosities is a great way to farm Legendaries of a specific equipment type. Each item purchased has a chance to be Legendary, so stock up on Obols and activate the Urn of Curiosities in your Season Blessings, if possible, for better odds of a Legendary.

The Spoils of Greater Equipment chest at the end of an Infernal Horde drops a lot of Legendary gear and is one of the most effective ways to farm Ancestral Legendary gear. This chest requires 400 Burning Aether to open. Make sure to run your Infernal Compasses on a comfortable difficulty or with a party to maximize potential rewards.

Nightmare Dungeons are a reliable way to farm Legendaries because completing them rewards guaranteed Legendaries and another Nightmare Sigil. This allows you to keep running Nightmare Dungeons with little to no cost to your Sigil Powders.

Furthermore, you can encounter Nightmare Dungeons with Horadric Strongrooms and obtain Escalating Sigils.

Escalating Nightmare

Escalating Nightmares and Horadric Strongrooms are now permanent activities as of Season 10, Infernal Chaos. Escalating Nightmares modify Nightmare Dungeons to chain to each other while Horadric Strongrooms are a new affix that adds a micro-dungeon inside Nightmare Dungeons. Completing these activities rewards players with better items and Horadric Spells.

Players can also encounter Astaroth at the final tier of an Escalating Nightmare, offering new flares for each fight as the affixes change.

World Events are random overworld events which reward a loot chest or two when completed. When doing Apparition Incursions or Helltides, always look out for World Events to clear for extra loot.

If a Legendary doesn’t fit your build, you can either sell it for Gold or salvage it for crafting materials. Sell them when you need Gold, but otherwise, salvaging is the better option.
