The Reward Cache for completing Chapter 2 of the Season 1 Journey contains 4 Scattered Prisms. If you're looking for one and in the middle of playing Season 1, this is a surefire way to get them. Also, 5 Scattered Prisms are needed as one of the challenges in Season 1 Journey Chapter 3, so this reward is extremely convenient!
How to Complete Season 1 Journey and Rewards
You can use Scattered Prisms to add a gem socket to your equipment at the Jeweler. You will need one Scattered Prism per gem socket that you want to add. However, do note that there is a max number of allowable gem sockets per item type, with boots and gloves having 0 chances of getting gem sockets.
