Barbarian Builds Overview

Mighty Throw Build

Build Summary
Diablo 4 - Mighty Throw Icon Mighty Throw Build
Rallying Cry Iron Skin Challenging Shout War Cry Call of the Ancients Mighty Throw
Focus: Pit Push
Diablo 4 Build - ProBest endgame Barbarian build

Diablo 4 Build - ProEasy playstyle

Diablo 4 Build - ConFury generation issues

Diablo 4 Build - ConRequires a Unique item to start

Mighty Throw may be the best Barbarian build for Season 6, offering the best damage output with an incredibly smooth playstyle. This build uses the unique The Third Blade and other Mighty Throw Aspects, alongside Tempered Affixes, to throw multiple axes simultaneously with no cooldown.

One potential issue with this build is Fury management. To continuously cast Mighty Throw, you'll need to resolve Fury sustain by either equipping the Ring of Starless Skies or acquiring multiple Resource Cost Reduction and Fury on Hit affixes to keep casting Mighty Throw.

Earthquake Build

Build Summary
Diablo 4 - Earthquake Build Icon Earthquake Build
Ground Stomp Rallying Cry Challenging Shout War Cry Leap Call of the Ancients
Focus: Speed Farming
Diablo 4 Build - ProGood mobility due to reduced Leap cooldown

Diablo 4 Build - ProGreat area clear with Dust Devils

Diablo 4 Build - ConMotion sickness-inducing gameplay with Leap

This build capitalizes on the Force of Nature Paragon Board node, which provides a high chance to spawn Dust Devils whenever you create Earthquakes. With abilities like Leap, Ground Stomp, and even by simply standing still with Lith + Tec Runeword, you can trigger Earthquakes consistently for devastating area damage.

For a more defensive version, consider swapping Leap or Ground Stomp for Iron Skin to tackle higher-tier content. However, this adjustment may require additional optimization to ensure Earthquake triggers remain reliable.

Bash Build

Build Summary
Diablo 4 - Bash Icon Bash Build
Hammer of the Ancients Bash Challenging Shout War Cry Steel Grasp Wrath of the Berserker
Focus: Bossing
Diablo 4 Build - ProExcellent Singl-target DPS

Diablo 4 Build - ProEasy to Play

Diablo 4 Build - ConLacks AoE clear

The Bash Build was once the premier Barbarian build and remains a solid choice for most content, especially bosses. Thanks to the Shard of Verathiel, we can easily stack a lot of Basic Attack damage and multiple ranks of Bash, then supporting it with damage and attack speed multipliers, to transform Bash into a powerful offensive tool.

But since this build suffers with Fury sustain, get as much Resource Cost Reduction and Fury on Hit Affixes as possible until you can Bash indefinitely. Additionally, the Bash cleaves for X% +Damage Tempered Affix and the Steel Grasp Skill should fix a bit of the area-of-effect clear that the build is also lacking.

Upheaval Build

Build Summary
Diablo 4 - Upheaval Icon Upheaval Leveling Build
Upheaval Frenzy Rallying Cry War Cry Call of the Ancients Mighty Throw
Focus: Leveling, Farming
Diablo 4 Build - ProHigh single target DPS

Diablo 4 Build - ProHigh survivability

Diablo 4 Build - ConDamage relies heavily on Overpower

Diablo 4 Build - ConRequires Constant Weapon Swapping

This Season 6 Barbarian build uses the new Mighty Throw skill to support the tried-and-tested Upheaval leveling build. This build utilizes various Overpower effects for massive bursts of damage, along with good life recovery and permanent Berserking up time.

The combination of Upheaval and powerful Aspects allows the build to accumulate numerous damage multipliers, enabling the Barbarian to overwhelm enemies with devastating Overpowered Upheaval attacks.
